His (1) POV:
My dad used to say that most of the things that we think we know are the ones that are imprinted on our heads. They are not actually our thoughts or explanations. They are simply the ones that are frequently told us to believe. When they occur, we simply choose the ones that we are told to do without thinking. But he didn't tell me what to do otherwise. Like thinking outside the box. He left me without telling me what to do.
Maybe even he didn't know what to do either. My childhood reminds me of a puzzle that I didn't get enough time to complete. Perhaps I took too much time for granted. I feel like I'm living in the past. I still can't move on from what my dad told me, even though he left without bothering to give a single glance.
Even now, I'm thinking about how each year the sun sets the same way while my dad held me close. Once several colors were spread throughout the sky when rainbows were formed beyond the beach region. I have only seen it once before the heavy rain.
But, now I think I solved the puzzle, all to do is to do the unexpected. Like, untying the prisoners who were sentenced to death...
