Her (1) POV:
Some people live for only one goal in their whole life. They do everything in their power to achieve that. But, after that, it is a blur. They don't know what to do after they have reached there. No imagination, no hopes, nothing. It's blank.
I'm currently witnessing such a situation. all he knew was to do what was required to prove that blindly following rules only pushed us backwards. But after that, he didn't know what to do....
He did what he thought was his purpose. So he chose the best decision for himself, no point in trying to delay it or stop it. It was his decision to decide whether to have a new purpose or just end with achieving what you had.
The woman chose the latter. That was why she was calling for help. I could understand why he is doing it, cause I was living without a purpose for a long time. But being part of something really gave me something that I have lacked over all these years, and I'm grateful for whatever short purpose I had.
But unlike him, I decided to see where this goes. If my belief is right, anything can be chosen for me by someone. So I have, at last, decided to stop fighting.
I could see that the boy was troubled. I could see him looking at me for help. But I couldn't, it was decided for him. I didn't believe in fate. This was just another game. Why fight it when you know there is nothing that you can do? In the end, even me who desperately didn't want to be a puppet also decided to go with the flow. But that doesn't mean that the struggle is still over.
But, I still didn't understand the man who tried to save us. He could easily pull the man out of the sea. But he is doing nothing. If he wanted to keep us, why is he not doing nothing now?
The woman was going towards the man, also sinking. But I could see that she was determined. I knew that she believed that her purpose is still not over. But you cannot assume the same for someone else. That's what she is doing right now.
Maybe, that's going to be the end of her.....
