Hi guys. . .
Long time huh?
Hopefully a chapter over 3000 words and interesting info might help?
And the fact that I'm finally getting a new laptop on Friday meaning I can update more with a better computer means more update and hopefully I can finish this before October. I wanted to finish this before the holidays ended but I'm not too sure now. At least I have two stories to finish instead of three so that's amazing, right?
Anyways. . .

I am not a fool . . .
Actually let me rephrase that.
I am not a complete fool.
So I didn't know why Matt was thinking and treating me like I was the dumbest little piece of shit ever; okay, that didn't make sense but the way he was trying to act so nonchalant whilst loosening and tightening his tie, playing with his cuff links and looking at every object in the room apart from me (though I'm not an object clearly), he was hiding something and it was something to do with me.
"Can I sit down Sir," I asked politely, looking at him directly.
He straightened his posture and told me to sit down. Normally when we had staring competitions, it was to pass dirty and inappropriate and telepathic thoughts about each other or when I was hiding something, we'd have a staring competition until one of us cracked, which was me. Now the tables had turned and I was going to make sure I took advantage of his uneasiness and I was going to enjoy every moment, no doubt about that.
I knew something big and bad had to be the reason for Matt's sudden discussion with me and his sudden change in attitude when I sat down was worrying me, like proper worrying me.
"Is there anything you need Sir," I asked, pulling out a folder under my arm. Before I knew it, the folder was on the other side of the room and so was Matt's chair. I had seen this before so the situation at hand was familiar.
"Sir-"
"-I'm sorry!" He yelled as he pushed a button at the end of the room. In a blink of an eye, the beautiful view of London had disappeared, leaving me in the dark. It wasn't Matt I feared. I knew he was harmless and I trusted him enough to know he wouldn't hurt me intentionally. Fuck that, he wouldn't hurt me at all. I didn't worry about what would Matt do in the dark, I was terrified what I would do in the dark. The black glass wasn't doing me any favours.
His heavy breathing helped me pin point where exactly in the room he was. His genes had given him an advantage as he was able to hear me and was nocturnal.
"Matt, it's me, Jasmine. Listen to me okay? Breath in slowly and breath out slowly."
"Kitty Cat. . ." The tone of his voice, the hurt that was visible made me pause.
"Breathe, one and two and three and four. Four and three and two and one. Try doing it with me Matt."
"You're too good for me, you're not worthy of a monster like me," he cried as he run off to another corner of the room.
