Friday 14th February 2014

As I walked up the 30 flights of stairs on Friday morning with a medium sized suitcase for my belongings for thinking time for some exercise and to avoid Matt (it would be uncomfortable and I would feel guilty for using his lift), Kelly's word's replayed in my head. Kelly loved me and she only wanted what was best for me so she criticised me to help me develop but her tone of voice when she said my actions and motives were completely selfish had me thinking; was I doing the right thing? Knowing Matt and how supportive he had been of me and my choices and the fact that he was pro-choice, he knew at the end of the day, it was my choice.

Maybe I could've discussed it with him . . . as a friend . . . or something like that . . . or at least hinted at my other ambitions . . .

When I had gotten to the fifth floor, I decided to take the elevator for the public. I had been climbing up 30 flights of stairs for the last five days, I couldn't take anymore exercise! When I opened the door to the 30th floor, I heard the elevator go ping and Matt walk out.

"Good morning Mr Burke," I smiled politely.

He nodded in acknowledgement. "There's a meeting at six with some important clients. Make sure you get to the 25th floor on time, understood? And make sure you dress the part as well."

"Yes Sir." Without stealing another glance, he turned around and walked off leaving me to get on with my day, which I did while thinking what was wrong with my attire.

I did some admin work and some extra work on top of that to make the next PA's work much easier when they started next week. I worked through lunch and my breaks to finish everything and clean out my office for the next occupier.

My extra items of clothing such as jackets, cardigan, heels and scarves protected the photographs and other personal belongings in the middle of the suitcase. It felt weird stripping my office clean of me, looking at what was there, before I had come.

By six, I had managed to finish everything on the agenda. Also, I managed to throw on a pair of black six inch heels, a black bow tie to go with the blazing red blazer and red lipstick I had on and had enough time to reach the 25th floor in time for the meeting.

However, what I didn't expect was have party poppers exploding in front of me and a cacophony of cheers and applause coming from everyone from the company. Grinning, I thanked everyone as I was pushed into the spotlight in front of everyone.

"You look sexy girl," Sarah, a colleague smirked at me.

"I think we both can agree that you look the part," I winked back.

"Or we can both agree that our boss looks delicious," Sarah smirked as she nodded at Matt. I turned around to see that she wasn't lying at all. On the mini stage, Matt stood there smiling in a dashing suit, making him look incredibly edible. The light wasn't in my favour as it highlighted Matt's features that God himself had shaped. Of course he looked amazing every single day, at any time during the day but a black tux on Matt made me feel like my ovaries were going to explode. Literally.
