Prisoner of War: A Melizabeth Story

Chapter 9

|Meliodas POV|

Its been 1 week.

One week since she died, one week in the cell, one week since I lost their trust completely. I think her mother has something to do with her death, I can feel it. 

I just need proof, I need them to hear her say it. After that, I will get my revenge. 

|Diane POV| 

I can't believe he would do that. She trusted him and fought to give him privileges. AND THIS IS HOW HE REPAYS HER!?!?  BY KILLING HER!?!?!

KING WAS RIGHT.

"King.... you were right about him" I whisper to him taking a bite out of my dinner. "I know I am sorry Diane" he comforted me. I wipe my tears, "we still need to use him though, I can't believe he actually faked emotions in front of us" I sigh. 

Its been 1 week, 1 week since she got killed. 1 week since I lost all faith in him. "Hey ban what are we going to do? Elizabeth was always so positive about everything. Now she is gone" king sighed. "I-i don't know" Ban stuttered.

He never stuttered

"Its going to be ok don't worry"

|Elizabeth POV|

"I-i want to go back but I can't, I didn't even get to say goodbye" I mumble to myself. Its been 1 week since my mother killed me. 1 week since I've been here, its nice and beautiful here. "Excuse me Miss?" I ask the lady. She laughs, "Please call me Artemis" she says sitting down next to me. "Now what do you need dear?" she asks kindly. 

"I-is there ANY way to go back?" I ask her. She puts her hand on her chin. "I don't think so, you have to wait for your people to come here when it's there time" she sighed. "I got killed too and felt the same way you do. But trust me, it gets better" she says putting a hand on my shoulder. "ok" I sigh. "Thanks Ms. Artemis, you are too kind" I smile.

"No problem dear, I'll do anything to help"

|Ban POV|

I'm walking near Deity's office when I heard her talking.

"You really did kill your daughter?" a voice asked.

"Mhm, and I blamed that demon" she laughed

Wait WHAT?

I run to go find king and Diane. I run to their room out of breath, "It wasn't him" I yell out of breath. "W-what?" Diane asked. King looks at me like I have two heads. "It wasn't him" I whisper. "H-how do you know?" king asked me.

 "I-i heard Deity talking about it" Diane jumps up and rushed to where meliodas was staying. "Diane wait up" king says running after her. "Ban would lie about something like this" Diane huffed as we ran to his cell."Meliodas" Diane calls, he looks up slowly. He looked like he was in pain. "H-hey Diane" he whispered. "It wasn't you, Ban said he heard Deity talking about how she- how she killed her" she mumbles. 

He shoots up and walked to the cell door. "Let me out. I need to speak to her" he said in a dark voice. "No- we can't yet we will be out numbered" I reason with him. He backs down, "Don't worry, we will make sure you'll avenge her" Diane smiles. 

We will stop you Deity, even if its the last thing I do

We walked up to her office, we had a plan. We weren't going to tell her we know. We were going to let her figure it out. King knocked on her door, "Come in!" she replied. I opened the door and King and Diane walked in. I followed after, "What do you need?" she asks with a fake smile. Diane frowned, "About Elizabeth's death and Meliodas" she sighed acting like she didn't have a clue. 

"Ok what about it?" she asks with a fake frown. "If Meliodas killed her how did he get out? That room had a perfect cube spell which was set by Merlin. I know Elizabeth has a key to the door and that and absolute cancel is the only way to get out, unless you have the key" she informed. Supreme Deity nodded, "go on" she told Diane. "S-so do you know HOW he got out?"  she asks her. 

Deity sighed, "I don't know, I'm just as upset as you" she sighed. Diane looked down and made herself cry to look upset about it too.  She sniffs, "okay thank you ma'am" she said leaving. Me and king follow after.
