Prisoner of War: A Melizabeth Story

Chapter 3

|Elizabeths POV|

I can believe King could say something like that. He's a living being. I wiped my tears and instead of walking used my wings to fly to the throne room. One of the guards opened the door so I could enter and I saw my mother doing paper work. 

"Mother, Im requesting to let Meliodas train on Goddess Clan grounds." I said looking up at her. She looked a bit shocked for a moment before clearing her voice. "Why this all of a sudden? I was just about to grant him a privilege." She said, My eyes widened. She was going to give him a privilege? 

"Because we want to have the best results, so Im suggesting training, what were you going to grant?" She hummed, she had her thinking face on.

"Bedroom Privileges" My eyes widened. "I mean he's going to be our victory to the war minus well, let him feel good until we have to lock him away again." I nodded. Actual privileges to a "vile" demon. 

She's playing at something I can feel it. "Do I need to announce it?" I asked. She shook her head indicating the answer was a simple no. I sighed about to walk out.

"Tomorrow you'll be getting him, his room will be across from yours incase anything happens Im sure you can handle yourself. Correct?" She said. I nodded and walked out. 

~Timeskip~

I awoke from slumber and yawned. Diane and the others are staying close to my room, So I could take Diane with me. But, I don't want to see King. 

Everything he said yesterday was horrible. "Monster" I mumbled to myself. I can't believe King would say that. I sighed but it turned into a yawn as I got out of bed. I changed being careful of my wings and started making my way to Diane's room.

Before I knocked I heard talking. I put my ear to the door, I know eaves dropping isn't okay but I couldn't help myself. (Bold here means the talking in the other room) "You're being so selfish King." I heard Diane say,

 "I don't care she's crazy if she thinks we could trust him. Does she even know how many people he's killed?" I heard King's voice this time. Ban was most likely sleeping, He's killed countless.. but with this war that'll just make his tally go up. 

I was about to knock on the door when it pushed open and I quickly moved behind it. "Im going to walk away from this entire argument! I can't believe you're agreeing with Elizabeth's nonsense." King said, walking away slamming the door.

I knocked on the door and when I got no response I opened it to see Diane crying. King.. I quickly ran up to her and hugged her on the floor. "I-I totally support you in this Meliodas thing Elizabeth!" She said. I just nodded and continued stroking her hair. 

About 5 minutes later her sobs started to die down. "How about we get you ready for today?" I said, smiling. She smiled back and we both got up. We went to the mirror and put her hair in her regular ponytails. 

Go wear your pink jumper and let's get going I'll explain on the way." She smiled and nodded going to the closet. She came out smiling but her face was still dried with tears. I went next to her and put my arm around her shoulder walking to the Dungeon. 

"So where are we going Elizabeth." She asked. She totally supports me in this. It'll be okay. 

"Supreme Diety's orders to present him with a room until the war is over, and I suggested training so thats what we're getting him for." I said, smiling. She seemed shocked but then smiled along with me. Oh Diane.. I couldn't ask for a better best-friend. 

We got there and I removed my arm from over Diane's shoulder and walked up to the guard to tell him the orders. I walked up to the window to see Meliodas throwing a ball up and down. "Wow Princess, here again?" Meliodas asked. 

"Im here because the Supreme Diety granted some privileges," I saw him sit up and raise a eyebrow. "She granted bedroom and training privileges, I asked for you." He sighed.

"Didn't think you'd actually do it, Princess. Cant believe she granted it either. So what am I going to do wear handcuffs all the time?" He asked. 

"Only when being escorted places" I signaled for the guard to open the door. He seemed hesitant but did so anyway.
