|Elizabeth POV|

"Is that what you called me here, you goddesses are too weak to win on your own so you use your enemy." He started laughing. But it wasn't the same type of laugh in his cell. It was more dark and cold.

"Do I even have a choice?" He asked with a bored look on his face. "No." The Supreme Diety spoke. Meliodas sighed and nodded. "Great, If you try and leave the chains will restrict you, Elizabeth and friends show him back to his cell." I nodded and motioned for Meliodas to follow me while my mother talked to the guard.

Ban decided to grab Meliodas for extra safety measures. It was silent. Nobody wanted to talk with Meliodas around.

"You know, You don't have to hold my restraints." Meliodas said, still his voice monotone. "You're dangerous, Im holding you for safety." Ban said. Still looking ahead. Not once did he glance at Meliodas. "You act like I can use my powers or run away."

I sighed. Meliodas seemed like he was getting irritated. Ban heard my sigh and I signaled for him to let go. Ban hesitated but still let go. Meliodas moved his arms to twist the restraints to his front and kept walking with a blank expression on his face.

"If Im going to help you in war, Im going to need to train. Haven't done anything like this in 4 years."

He was right. We caught him 4 years ago and limited his magic restrictions and didn't let him train unless it was for my mothers arena games. But those were different, from what my mom said they were mere weaklings to Meliodas' power so she never let him train.

"Ill talk to her about it." I said, still walking forth. Meliodas didn't say anything so I assumed he just nodded. It felt oddly safe but at the same time scary being around Meliodas. I mean he's like my age. So we caught him when he was 20 in human years. My mother never told me how he got that injury but Im pretty sure they said it left a scar.

I think they said it was because they used their methods of healing instead of letting Meliodas use his demon healing powers. We finally got back to his cell and took off the pair of handcuffs and he went inside. No resisting either. Why didn't he resist, he had every opportunity. Very.. complexing.

I heard him sigh and lay down back onto his "bed". "Lets go guys, I need to have another talk with my mother." I said, walking forward. They all started following. It was silent like when we were with Meliodas. It felt awkward. "Hey Elizabeth," I looked back at King. "Why'd you make Ban let go of Meliodas' handcuffs." I looked beside to see Ban also looking curious.

I sighed and look back forward. "Im not sure, It felt oddly safe but dangerous at the same time with Meliodas." I said. They must've been confused by my words because it became silent again. "What the heck do you mean safe? He's a monster Elizabeth." King said, floating infant of me with chastifol.

"I don't know myself. I still think we can trust him. H-He didn't resist.." I said looking down at the floor. "Trust him, Elizabeth? Are you insane. All were using him for is to win the war then we'll lock him back up into his cage, away from society. Where he belongs." King yelled, making me stop walking.

Tears brimming the bottom of my eyes. Were playing him for a toy... He's a living being too. I let out a 'tisk'. "Well, You what King. I think thats how he's been treated all his life! A monster. Thats why he is the way he is. You judging before knowing him is horrible. Just because his a demon!" I yelled, more tears forming in my eyes.

King looked shocked at my words. "He's been treated that way because he is the monster! Do you know how many people he's killed. With no mercy?! He deserves to be locked in that cage." King yelled.

Diane came over to calm down King, you could see in her face she didn't like what he was saying. How.. "How can you say something like that!" I shouted. Before he could say anything else I used my white wings to fly to the throne room, the tears that were in my eyes finally coming out.

Peace out,

-Mary
