- Farewell -

In the dimly lit corridor of a house somewhere in London, stood two figures, so motionless that they could pass through two ancient statues. Everything was still, everything was silent, the only noise came from the many sinister creakings present in the old house.

Not a word was exchanged between the two, every word now was superfluous. After all, their connection had always been as deep as a bottomless abyss, and these kinds of relationships need not be impoverished by meaningless words.

And so they remained, staring at each other, and with a glance, they managed to convey all the emotions that they were feeling at that moment. A time that they have waited for long, but feared nonetheless.

Two figures so equal in appearance and essence, but so different in that instant. One stuck to reminisce a different time and space, the other free for the first time to live what the other had often told as the most beautiful and complex moment of his life.

They are too proud to admit it, but they are both terrified. And with those eyes, whose colour they have in common, they spoke of emotions that in that ancient house never before anyone had the courage to say a word.

Courage, pride, love, admiration, joy, support.

Tears of emotion and pride can be seen on the aristocratic face of the taller figure. Two steps are enough to reach the smallest one and then they are sharing a bone-crushing hug, the last for at least four months.

The silence was broken by the sound of a masculine voice, elegant and firm, and yet with a note that betrays the deep affection shared between the two.

"Stay strong, stay straight. Do not let the judgment of others break you, bend, give them the false comfort of being able to break you and then get up and fight back. With elegance, of course, you are not an ill-mannered baboon. And most importantly, if you are going to cause mischief, do not let them caught you."

The speech is received with a laugh and an eye roll. "I live with a drama queen. Of course, I will not get caught."

The two were joined by a third figure, which seems to had emerged from nowhere.

"It's time," continued the first with a sad smile and with a 'pop' the two small figures had disappeared. In their place, only space and dust remained.

In the newly established silence of the house, a few whispered words were heard.

"She acts more like you than me, I fear for those poor professors."

"See you soon, Meus Stella."
