"Remember tonight — for it is the

beginning of always."

"Don't tell your mother you've been gambling," Arthur implored Fred and George as they all made their way slowly down the purple carpeted stairs.

"Don't worry, Dad," Fred reassured gleefully. "We've got big plans for this money. We don't want it confiscated."

Mr Weasley seemed for a moment as though he wanted to ask what these big plans were but, after briefly meeting Betelgeuse's eyes, seemed to decide, upon reflection, that he did not want to know.

They were soon caught up in the crowd flooding out of the stadium and back to their campsites. Boisterous singing was borne toward them on the night air as they retraced their steps along the lantern-lit path, and Leprechauns continued shooting over their heads, giggling, and waving their lanterns. When they eventually reached the tents, nobody felt like sleeping at all, and given the level of noise around them, Mr Weasley conceded that they could all have one last cup of cocoa together before turning in.

They were soon arguing enjoyably about the match. Arthur got drawn into a disagreement about cobbing with Charlie; and the twins, Ron and Harry began to recreate the match they had just watched.

"Rubbish!" Ginny hollered as Harry recreated Lynch's dive.

Fred and George were dancing around the tent, under the amused eyes of the two Blacks. Soon, they dragged Betelgeuse and Sirius into their uncoordinated and chaotic dance. She threw her head back as Sirius spun her around; an immense joy pervaded her as she observed the twins hopping around and her uncle laughing with a youthful sparkle in his stunning grey eyes.

"There's no one like Krum!" Ron roared, standing on a chair above the group. Betelgeuse stared at the younger Gryffindor with raised eyebrows.

Fred and George glanced at each other and simultaneously started circling around him and shaking their arms around like birds wings.

"He's like a bird the way he rides the wind. He's more than an athlete; he's an artist." Ron stated, holding an Irish cape towards his heart.

Betelgeuse heard Ginny giggle behind her hand.

"I think you're in love, Ron," the red-haired girl declared, making Betelgeuse broadly grin.

"Shut up."

Sirius let out a burst of roaring laughter, patting Ginny on her shoulders and making the young Weasley blush. "Nice one, kiddo. But let me tell you something, Ron," he continued, redirecting his attention to the boy. "You have strange tastes, to say the least."

Fred took to his knee, opened his arms wide and began singing very off-key. "Viktor, I love you —"

George took to the other side, "— Viktor I dooooo —"

"— When we're apart, my heart speaks only for you!"

They continued to comment on the match and tease Ron, and only when Ginny fell asleep right at the tiny table and spilt hot chocolate all over the floor, Mr Weasley stopped the verbal replays and requested that they all retire for the night.
