All the students were gathered and sitting quietly inside the school hall waiting patiently for tonight's activities! It was the student best program of the week, Almost all the student loves social gathering ! Every Saturday brings joy to the most negative minded student. The likes of Umar, Alfred, Femi and co, where as I hate the gathering it's very useless not important ! I had attend today's own because of the stupid bet I had with dem boys about me dancing with Sally ! They said if I agree to dance with her that means I don't have feelings for her but if I do not agree then it means I have feelings for her ! Why did I agreed at the first place ?
"Hey mister! Are you ready ?" Alfred patted my shoulders with a smirk
" Yes " I returned the same gesture
"That's the spirit man !" He teases and I hit his stomach with my elbow playfully
"BahBah is going to fun ! The student are gonna see you for the first time on stage tonight ! Femi whisper with so much enthusiasm you could swore it was something more serious
"I can't wait " kabir muttered
" the shy thing no fit do anything " umar blurted
" who said he's shy ! Bashir ? You mean this international bad boy " Femi blurted and they all bursted into laughter
Am I supposed to touch her while dancing where would I touch ?how would I do it ?Are they expecting me to rock her? Question keep turning and burning inside me
SALLY's POV
Everyone is looking good tonight! Can't wait for the entertainment to start I can see the master on duty Mr Ola is the DJ Himself tonight ! Today na today patiently waiting for somebody to embarrass his generation
"Sally " Funmi called me and I walked up to her
" I kept this sit for you "She offered
"Thank you "I cheered happily
"Hey baby "Fati pitched me from behind
"Well fine you couldn't even wait for me, you came here all alone " I nagged angrily
"Sorry bestie " she held here ears playfully
"Your big head " I laughed over it
"Hey pretty ! A tall light skinned guy stood in front of me
" what's the meaning of this now ? You're blocking my view ! " Funmi yelled
" why didn't I see you in the rehearsal Sally ?"
"Because she did not want to participate, or is it by force ?" Funmi replied harshly
He ignored her nastiness and continued to make unnecessary noise with me , he's used to funmi's troubles and constant silence, he's very annoying you know but handsome and intelligent too. He's the only one that gives me tough time in Art class academically. According to my classmate Sani has been crushing on me since year 1 till date but hasn't mentioned to me . Well I don't want him too I can't see my self dating Sani not even in my wildest dream . He's the freshest guy in my class, the likes of meera, aysha zamani are crushing on him, sani is so nice and likable even our so called seniors are crushing on him especially those boring SS2 girls.
" what's your problem? Or are you jealous ? " said Chuks, a friend to sani whom just appeared referring to funmi as she ignored and kept on annoying sani
