Okay for those of you who don't know, i'm a huge crybaby(you would only get it if you were apart of the fandom)

her songs are dark but have good messages

actually, when i became a more dark and morbid person, i started listen to her music.

some of her songs are kinda sad

and most include profanity

mostly "Fuck"

lol

She wrote a song about how girls are treated in society, and how when they dress a certain way people think they own them but they don't (strawberry shortcake-K-12)

she wrote a song about bulimia(orange juice-k-12)

she wrote a song about how she was bullied in school for the gap in her two front teeth(dear Mr. Porcupine) 

she made a song about having Mental illness and coming to terms with them (mad hatter- Crybaby)

she wrote a song about plastic surgery and the dangers of it (Dear mrs Potatoe head-crybaby)

she wrote a song about getting away from toxic people(recess-k-12)

the song is about having toxic friends and telling them you're not gonna deal with them anymore by saying "Recess, I'm tired." basically the song talks about toxic friends and how to deal with them

it reminds me to not let my greatest ememy (aka myself) get me down and reminds me to push away the toxic worthless thoughts  i have in my head all the time. Like Chris colfer, Melanie has also saved my life.

so that's why this song means so much to me
