The Wachowskis and Marina, are off to the Australian coast to make peace outside of the U.S. They'll meet new friends and something that will change their lives forever!
It was finally time for the trip to the Australian Coast! "Oh this is going to be awesome"! I said as I got ready and made sure I had everything. Especially my guitar, a pile of sheet music, and a piece of paper to write my summer bucket list on. Then as I was about to leave my room, my eyes fell onto my sketch of the mysterious island. I quickly grabbed it and then left my room. Once I was down stairs, I saw that everyone was ready to go too. "Hey Sonic we better get going to pick up Marina". Donut Dad said as we headed towards the car. On the way there, I texted Marina that we were on our way to her house. Also Aunt Rachel and Jojo were going to take care of Ozzy and Coco while we're away.
Marina's P.O.V.
I was excitedly making sure I had everything I needed including my swim suit, and Bluetooth microphone. Just as I was done, I got a text from Sonic. He was on his way so I quickly grabbed my suitcase and went down stairs. "Well Mom and Sonic is on his way here so um goodbye. I love both so much and I promise I'll be safe". I said as I hugged them tightly. "We love you too Marina. Also call us every night so we can hear how the day was okay". Mom said lovingly. "Okay Mom I promise". I said confidantly. Just then I heard a car horn. So I grabbed my suitcase and ran towards Tom's car.
Shadow's P.O.V.
Once we drove off towards the airport, I got a text from Joey. "Hey guys our friends are gonna see us off at the airport"! I announced excitedly. "That's great I needed to tell them something anyway". Sonic said in relief. "Humm let me guess. Is it about your dream"? I asked dramatically. "That and something else too". Sonic replied confidently. "Wait what dream"? Marina asked in confusion. "I'll tell you once we find our friends at the airport I promise". Sonic replied reassuringly. "Alright Sonic. I love you". Marina said right before kissing Sonic lovingly.

They arrived at the airport and went through security checks smoothly. "Hey guys"! Crystal said as they arrived at the gate. "Hey guys, thanks for coming to see us off. I have two things I meant to tell you yesterday. I will be writing songs while I'm there. I have a feeling a lot of inspiration will be coming from this trip. Also I had a mysterious dream last night where I saw a mysterious island and the full moon. Here's a sketch of the island". Sonic explained and then showed them the sketch.

Then they handed it back. "Whoa sounds interesting! Looks like you have a mystery to solve"! Crystal said happily. "Yeah keep us up to date with that"! Jessica added excitedly. "And we can't wait for those songs dude". Joey said confidently. "We will. We'll miss you guys! But don't worry, well be taking pictures and videos of this trip". Sonic said as they joined into a group hug. "Sonny Sonny"? Annika said repeatedly. Sonic knew that she wanted to be in his arms. So Sonic gentle took Annika into his arms. "Hey there Annika, say goodbye to our friends". Sonic said sweetly. "Bye bye". Annika said as she giggled. "Awe by Annika, we'll miss you too". Crystal said happily. "Don't they grow up so fast"? Jessica said dreamily. "Yep they sure do". Shadow said happily.

Sonic's P.O.V.
Then it was time to board the plane. Once settled in the plane, I handed Annika to Shadow and took out the piece of paper and began writing my bucket list. "So what are you putting on your bucket list there"? Shadow asked curiously. "Oh not that much. Just make friends, conquer my fear of the ocean, and surf on the waves. I would put write new songs but that's more of a side thing compared to these". I replied confidently. "Whoa sounds great and if you want, I can help you with your fear". Shadow said happily. "Really? I'd love that bro. Thanks". I said happily just as the plane began to take off. Once we were in the air, I took out my phone and started filming. "So Shadow anything you're hoping to come out of this trip"? I asked in an interviewer's voice. "Actually yeah, I want to surf and to solve this mystery. I mean, who know what it'll lead to". Shadow replied enthusiastically. "That's true, but I get really good vibes from it. So I'm not nervous". I said as I turned my camera off. "That's good. It'll be refreshing to not have to worry about in a life threatening situation". Shadow said in relief.
Then I turned to look at Donut Dad. "So Donut Dad where are we staying once we get there again"? I asked seriously. "We're gonna be house guests to someone named Annette Watsford and her daughter Charlotte. "Alright sounds great". I said happily. I wondered what they'd be like for awhile as I watched Annika play with Shadow's white chest fur, which was adorable! Shadow was even giggling at the sight.

Charlotte's P.O.V.
I walked up to Mom nervously. "So Mom who's staying with us over the summer"? I asked seriously. "Oh did I forget to tell you? Well it's the Wachowski family and Marina Melody, who is dating their youngest son Sonic. But I'm afraid that's all I know. Well come on we need to be at the airport by the time they arrive". Mom said reassuringly. Then we got into the car and headed to the airport.
Once we got to baggage claim, Mom took out the sign that said "Wachowski family" on it and we waited for our guests to find us. That didn't last long though for I saw two large Hedgehogs and a large owl walking/flying up to us with a man, woman, teenage girl, and a baby girl in the woman's arms! I knew mermaids exist but this was still shocking to me.

When I saw the sign with our last name on it I knew immediately that the women were our house hosts. "Donut Dad is that them"? I asked wanting to make sure. "Yep let's go meet them". Donut Dad said after we grabbed our luggage. "Hi are you Annette"? Pretzel Mom asked curiously. "Yep so you must be Maddie Wachowski right". Annette asked happily. "Yep this is my husband Tom, my oldest son Shadow, my youngest son Sonic, and our baby daughter, Annika". Pretzel Mom replied casually. "This is our godmother Lonclaw, and my girlfriend Marina Melody". I added politely. "Well it's very nice to meet you all. Follow us and we can get you settled". Annette said as we began to make our way to the parking lot.
It got strangely quiet. So I decided to break the ice. "So you're Charlotte right"? I asked casually. "Yes and don't take this the wrong way but wasn't expecting to see three anthropomorphic mammals today. Although this explains why the information they gave us about you all, was so vague". Charlotte said carefully. "No I get it. After all I stayed hidden for my first ten years on Earth. I was so afraid of what the government would do to me. But thankfully I no longer have to fear it and have an amazing family that I wouldn't leave for anything". I said happily. "Whoa really? Well I'm glad you found the happiness you were looking for". Charlotte said in surprise. "Thanks Charlotte I have a feeling we'll be great friends". I said happily. "I agree and I can't wait to see the beautiful beach". Marina said in agreement. Then on the way over to Charlotte's house, we explained how we all met each other.
