No school but new rules

Chase's POV

I was sound asleep until I hear loud voices which was so normal here. I finally decided to wake my, my eyes burning from staying up late last night looking at the girl I met yesterday Charli's social media. I can't get her out of my head I don't know it was something about her lips that made me crave them, something about her voice made me wonder how she would sound if she was comfortable around me, the cute small smile she gave me when she was walking away... I got ready even tho I didnt have school.

I walked out of my room just walked around not knowing what to do but then seeing Vinnie sitting there chilling, smoking with no shirt on.

Chase-"hey" I yawned

Vinnie-"morning" he responded

Chase-"have you seen Jaden?" I asked him

Vinnie-"yeah he's probably over there where you guys are supposed to meet with Colson today remember?" Vinnie looked

Chase-"OH right I forgot" I walked away and go to the stage where Colson told us to meet

I saw the three standing there probably waiting so I walk faster to catch up to where they were.

Colson-"you're late" he rolled his eyes and looked at me

Chase-"uh sorry there was no specific time you told us to meet..." I tried not to make eye contact

Colson-"you're right but anyway you guys ready?" he pointed at us 3

We all nod our heads and he says

Colson-"good ok so no more school but new rules, number 1 is more money... I heard Vinnie telling you guys about that... right?" He is standing up while us three are sitting along the stage 

I look at Cynthia who is leaned back, her arms holding her up, I look at Jaden who has his elbow on his knee with his hand holding his chin up.

Cynthia-"yeah he did tell us, he said the more we do something for you we get more money than usual" Cynthia explained

Colson-"mhm ok second you can't date anyone who isn't gonna accept you for being... here, you can't date someone who doesn't have edge leaving us with another thing but it's not really a rule if your 18 you can choose if you wanna stay or leave the gang" He explains

I thought about me possibly having feelings for the girl I met yesterday turns out I can't even be with her I guess the universe is saying hell no. 

Jaden-"so we can leave at 18?"

Colson-"if you want" 

Colson-"ok enough of that there's more"

I start to zone off knowing the rest of the rules were gonna be pointless to me, all I heard was "no more making loud noises after 2 am" "no doing the dirty in other people's rooms" but then it hit me that I should probably listen.

Jaden-"I have a question" Jaden quickly says

Colson-"ugh what?" Colson sounded a bit annoyed at him

Jaden-"ok so can we sleep with someone who isn't part of the gang or even 'edgy' as you say"

Colson-"honestly yeah but the thing is you might have to make it a one night stand so don't get attached" he responded to Jaden's question

Jaden responded with an ok and a nod

Colson-"last but not least no more curfew" he smirks a little

We all look at each other and almost smile at each other

Colson-"ok go away" he carelessly gives us a hand signal to go away

We leave the place and stand outside

Cynthia-"well now we don't have a curfew so I'm going" she was about to walk away 

Jaden-"wait where?" Jaden grabs her by the wrist

Cynthia-"hmm I don't know to eat" Cynthia looks him up and down in a disgusting face

Jaden-"can I come?" Jaden asks

Cynthia nods 

Cynthia-"but before we're asking Colson if he wants something so we both can get some money" she smiled and they both walked away

My best friend gonna go out to eat with my ex-girlfriend... weird but I don't care. I leave to go walk around just to pass the time. I walk near the school and see everyone kinda gathered outside then I remember it's probably free period right now. I walk through the field and see a couple of people out there. I hear the grass crackling from beside me, I look beside me and see someone walking up beside me. It was Charli

Charli-"what are you doing here?" She asked as she stood in front of me

Chase-"just walking around" I quietly responded

Charli-"I thought you didn't go here" she questioned

 Chase-"I don't I dropped out" I added

Charli-"oh... ok then so about yesterday what was that place" she wondered 

Chase-" um..." I hesitated 

Chase-"actually I-I dont know" I lied

Charli-"then why did you say that I should leave and that if someone saw me I could get hurt?" She shot back at me

God, she wasn't stupid at all

Chase-"Really I dont know, me and my friend were just walking around until he... h-had to use the bathroom and couldn't wait till we got to the place we needed to be and we stopped there and I said he could hurt you cause... he knows who you are and he hates your cheerleader friends" I lied

Charli-"Oh yeah the girls can be a bit much to other 'weird' people"

Then I heard some girls voices coming up from behind her, Im pretty sure they were her friends.

?-" Charli? Who is that?" A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes looked me up and down

?-" yeah and why are you talking to... him," Another girl with light brown hair and brown eyes said

Charli-"Maddie and Addison this is Chase we met yesterday" She smiled at them then at me

Maddie was the girl with blonde hair and blue eyes while Addison was the girl with the light brown hair and brown eyes.

Maddie-"oh well maybe you shouldn't be talking to him because you're boyfriend Josh hates his guts" Maddie slightly rolled her eyes

Charli-" he's not my b-" Charli tries to say something but Addison cuts her off

Addison-"just c'mon" both Maddie and Addison slowly walk away

Charli-"sorry I gotta go" she smiled at me and walked away

If it wasn't for those girls she wouldn't have to leave and what was up with my lying... why didnt I tell the truth maybe it's cause she won't accept who I am if she knows I'm in a gang but anyways Colson said I couldn't date anyone like her... I walked away from the school and went somewhere to eat then headed back... home.
