Chase's POV (like always)

All day I was sitting around, slouching, thinking about Charli. I haven't gotten out of my room at all today and Jaden was getting a little worried. He kept on knocking on my door asking me if I was okay and I just totally ignored him. 

I felt tired and lazy, I didnt like it at all so I got up and came out of my room. I wanted to take my car but I was just gonna go to a park so it's just better to walk. I walked to the park that wasn't that far from here. The air was hot and everything was still green and "pretty" outside even though it was fall. I saw a bench when I got there and sat down. 

I was just looking down at my shoes until I saw a shadow in front of me then I saw dog paws. I looked up and I saw her... Charli

Charli-"oh my god, Chase! Hey" she smiled

Does she not know what she did? 

Chase-"leave me alone" I avoided eye contact with her

Charli-"what? why?" she said, her voice sounded soft 

Chase-"you should know why" I got up and was about to walk away

Charli-" no I don't know why now come here and talk to me" she grabbed my hand and I quickly got butterflies

I looked at her like 'what the heck' face

Charli-"don't look at me like that, say something"

Chase-"I saw you, I saw you kiss Josh after you said to me you two were nothing more than friends" I sighed in sadness

Charli-"We are nothing more than friends, he kissed me" she explained

Chase-"then why did you kiss back?"

Charli-"I don't know it felt right at the time" I saw the guilt in her eyes

Chase-"Whatever" I rolled my eyes

Charli-"why do you care so bad? It's not like we are a thing" she shot

What the hell, the audacity she had for her to say that

Chase-"I thought we had something but I guess I was wrong so fuck you and goodbye... I hope you have fun with Josh" I walked away

How could I be so stupid?

Charli's POV

I saw Chase walk away and I sat down on the bench where he was sitting, My dog sat down right beside my legs.

I messed up, I didn't know he thought we had something... I mean I always felt something for him when we met but I didnt know he felt the same. He wanted to seem so bad but I saw right through that act when we hung out that time. 

I really do think I messed up, I really do like Chase and I don't know why I kissed Josh. I never liked Josh that way but at the time he was being sweet and it happened... it felt right. 

I walked back home with my dog, I entered my big house then went up to my sister Dixie's room.

Charli-"hey Dix" I sighed

Dixie-"Hey what's wrong," she asked

Charli-"boy problems" I sat on the edge of her bed

Dixie-"ooh tell me"

Charli-"well I met this guy he was so cool and I think I like him and I guess he liked me... and you know Josh"

Dixie-"yeah...?"

Charli-"Me and Josh kissed today and the other guy's name is Chase, he saw and he's mad at me because I told him Josh was nothing more than a friend"

Dixie-"so you lied to... Chase"

Charli-"no because me and Josh are truly just friends but friends don't kiss"

Dixie-"so just choose a boy, even if you dont see it you clearly have feelings for both the boys"

I thought about all the times I was with Chase, I always felt happy, excited, I had butterflies around him, I always felt like I could express my feelings with him and be able to be myself no matter what. Chase was really cool, seemed like a bad guy but really wasn't, he was caring and supportive. 

While with Josh I always calm around him, I felt safe, and he was such a flirt. Josh was protective, nice well to me at least, he had a sense of humor, but sometimes I had to hide the things I think or do from him... 

Charli-"I can't choose"

Dixie-"well give Chase some time and hang out with Josh for a bit then talk to Chase and hopefully it goes well then hang out with chase. Compare them two together, think of their pros and cons, whichever you think would be better for you, you go after them" Dixie explained

Charli-"yeah I guess thanks dixie" I got up 

Dixie-"you're welcome now go," she said

I left her room and walked into mine, I texted Josh if he wanted to hang out and he said sure.

Chase's POV

I got back and was walking around the whole building looking for Jaden who was nowhere to be found. I saw Vinnie standing there doing nothing... weirdo

Chase-"hey" I said

Vinnie-"heyy"

Chase-"have any idea where Jaden is?" I asked him

Vinnie-"Jaden never goes out so... probably in his room" 

Chase-"oh im an idiot I forgot to check there..." I shook my head 

Vinnie-"your welcome" 

I walked away and went to Jaden's room. The door was closed and I didnt even bother to knock, I opened the door, My face went from no emotion to shocked...
