What happened at midnight

Chase's POV

Me and Jaden waited around till it was midnight. The time finally came after many boring hours.

Chase-"c'mon J," I told him as we both walked away

We walked all the way back to the park, it was dark the only source of light was the street lights, but even the street lights were dim and some were blown out. It was kinda scary cause you barely could see what was up ahead of you.

Me and Jaden got there and saw a flash which we both agreed would probably be Quinton. We walked closer and it was.

Quinton-"heyyyy guys" he called out 

C&J-"hey," we said back at him as we stopped 

Quinton-"yall ready to get high as hell?!" He exclaimed

Chase-"I guess," I told him with not as much emotion 

Quinton-"you're so boring" he rolled his eyes 

Quinton brings out the bag and gives us a mischievous smile.

Chase-"wait..." I stopped him as he irritatedly looks at me 

Quinton-"ugh now what?" he shot

Chase-"are we actually gonna do it here? isn't too obvious?" I asked him 

Quinton-"Nah it's 2 am and in this broke ass small city, no one even lives here"

Chase-"okay" I hesitated

Chase-"let's do this then" I shrugged my shoulders

Quinton-"good here" He opened the bag and the smell was familiar to me... a little too familiar.

He gave me one and looked at Jaden and Jaden became hesitant but turned down the offer. (lmao ik what ur thinking... jadn literally went to jail for it but play along it's for the storyline)

Quinton-"you've never done this before right?" he assumed 

Chase-"yeah..." 

I felt embarrassed cause you know... He looks like he could be the bad boy with all the b!tches on him in high school

Quinton showed me how to do it blah blah blah and that's just where it all started. We were out sm0king it for hours and hours to come. We were having a good time Me and Quinton were already high as hell and Jaden was just watching but still having fun.

Quinton-"you know what yall two aren't that bad, hanging out with you guys right now isn't as bad as i thought it was going to be" He snickered 

Chase-"thanks?" 

Quinton-"no wonder my lil sis likes you so much" He directed this to me 

My eyes widened a bit and I looked at Jaden. He had a small surprised smile on his face. 

Chase-"oh" I tried to act cool so his opinion about me didn't change

Jaden's POV

 It was getting really late, around 3:30 am but Chase didn't want to leave yet, neither did Quinton. The smell was getting way too strong and I was scared that someone could get a smell of this shit and something bad would happen... I felt it in myself that we would have to leave soon, something was telling me that.

Jaden-"we should go now... right," I told Chase

Chase ignored me and continued to talk to Quinton. I rolled my eyes and we stayed put. After a couple of tries, I just stopped trying. There was no point, the same things were going to keep happening.

Chase's POV

We were still standing there, it was still dark outside. Everything was fine, no cars were driving around these streets, of course, there was no one walking outside its literally 3 am. 

Suddenly we hear someone talking but I couldn't hear clearly, my vision was somewhat blurry and I couldn't focus.

Jaden-"ugh we're fucked..." he groaned

Chase-"what?!" I questioned

Jaden-"it's the cops..." Jaden sounded and looked worried 

We all did... we knew what was about to go down...

There were 2 and they were walking up to us... I checked my pockets quickly and OF COURSE, i have the bag of weed.

They finally got to us and asked us a couple of questions. The cops could probably tell me and Quinton were high but they still wanted a body search so they did Quinton first and found another bag and it was full. I didnt even know of it... They body searched me and found the bag that I had in my pockets. They did Jaden but they didnt find anything, they told him to stand step aside.

Cop 1-"you 2 know doing weed is illegal here right?" he told us

Q&C-"yeah"

Cop 1-" and how old are you two?"

Quinton-"I'm 18" 

Chase-"17"

Cop 2-"underage too" 

Cop 1-"we're going to have to take you"

We didnt respond but they took us in handcuffs. Jaden was in shock and looked so worried.

Jaden-"okay wait what are you going to do with them"

Cop 1-"jail?" 

Jaden-"ugh fuck no" he worriedly groaned

They took us away and into a cop car, each a separate one tho... I was in the back of a cop car, looking down, hoping that this was all just a dream but I knew it wasn't. I was in disbelief, never thought I would be in handcuffs on my way to jail.

Jaden's POV

I saw them drive away in a COP CAR! I didnt want to believe it. I felt so worried, I didnt know what to do but to go back home. I know Chase doesn't like to share his personal life with Colson a lot but I had to tell him.

I ran back over there and entered the abandoned club and there was Colson doing absolutely nothing. I ran up to him, I stopped in front of him out of breath from running here. He looked up at me in confusion, He looked tired like he hasn't gotten sleep in the longest time.

Colson-"ugh what Jaden?" he asked, sounding a bit angry 

Jaden-"i-its... Chase" I said in between breaths 

Colson-"what happened" 

Jaden-" he's being taken to jail..."

Colson-"what?!?!?!?" his jaw dropped and eyes were widen

He was surprised cause we both knew Chase would never...
