Chase's POV

I just got done talking to Charli and honestly, I said some harsh things that probably left her shocked. I walked away from her and didn't look back cause I didn't want to see the emotion I left on her face so I didn't feel bad. I walked to the front of the school and hear someone run to the side of me, I look and it's Jaden

Chase-"hey... you waited?" I gave him an awkward side smile

Jaden-"yeah... mind telling me what happened, you seem off" he started as we walked 

Chase-"uhm yeah, all she wanted to say was sorry but I didn't take it" 

Jaden-"why not"

Chase-"cause she kissed Josh... and she knew we had something for a little but she threw it all away without knowing it" I explained to him

Jaden stayed silent as we walked some more

Jaden-"you're alright... right?" he quietly asked me

Chase-"of course I am, I think I like someone new..." I responded 

Jaden-" Nessa? right?" he asked me for confirmation

Chase-"yeah, I told you right" 

Jaden-"mhm" 

Chase-"speaking of her... wanna meet her?" I randomly asked him

Jaden-"uhm really?" Jaden seemed unready for what I just said 

Chase-"well yeah I just want you to meet her and talk to her because... well you're my best friend" 

Jaden-"okay fine "

I nodded my head and I paused

Jaden-"what?" Jaden stopped as well and turned to look back at me 

I brought out my phone 

Chase-"Let me text her just to see if she's ok with it" i told him

*text messages*

Hey what are you up to rn?

Nessa
nothing... why?

Chase
do you think that you could sneak out

Nessa
like rn??

Chase

Yeah it's okay if you can't

Nessa
No, I think I can meet you... where?

Chase
uhm how about the park on ***********st?

Nessa
sounds good 

Chase
meet you there

okay bye

*seen*

Chase- "okay so looks like we're going to meet her in the park" 

Jaden-"okay" 

We continue to walk and start to head to the park.

*at the park* She wasn't there yet I knew it cause there wasn't really anyone there. Me and J sat on a bench, Jaden was on his phone and I anxiously waited for her. I was nervous, my leg was bouncing up and down and I was nibbling at my lips. 

I saw two people walking around then my phone got a text notification. I pulled out my phone as Jaden watched me, It was Nessa
