After a few hours the doctor returned.

Camila immediately jumped up and I followed her over to him quickly.

You can see Lily now she is due to be waking up anytime now. Her head and chest are bruised badly and her right leg is a bit weak. She will not speak to me she is not even telling me a number when I ask her pain rating.

*Camila's POV*

He pointed to a door and nodded smiling allowing us to practically run to the room.

We didn't speak scared to wake her andnI wanted to cry seeing her the way she was. She looked so hurt and sad. He body blue and raw. My little girl with cords everywhere.

I turned to lauren who was staring at her deeply. I noted her hands in fist clenching to her side. She wasn't mad at Lily. It was herself. And I hated seeing Lauren so conflicted.

Lauren babe...come to her...dont be mad...love her now...lets love her...keep her.

I made my way to the side of her bed and took her tiny hand into mine. I rubbed it pleasingly as Lauren came up behind me. She leant forward kissing the child gently on the cheek.

I knew at that point we would never let her go ever again. I would never let Lauren go. This is our family and even though it will take a ton of work we are all going to mold together again.

I decided to go out and get us some food knowing Lily would be hungry when she woke. Lauren wanted to join me but I knew inside she desired some time with her daughter.

*Lauren's POV*

I took Lily's hand and held it. I loved her and I wished I had been there to protect her. I looked at Her and began to sing. I sang about two songs before I felt it.

I felt her squeeze my finger and grip it. Ib immediately stopped and smiled as her eyes flickered and she let fo to rub her eyes. I dont think she realized me until she was done.

When she saw me she looked uncomprehendable and i couldn't read her and suddenly my heart stopped.

Mommy i miss you...

She struggled to get up causing me to move closer to her side. She almost pulled an IV out scaring me slightly to see her so distressed. I Kissed her cheek and whispered I love her as she gripped my shirt and started sobbing.

You are okay princess. Nobody will hurt you. Are you hungry?

Lily nodded gently as she sat up expect in food.

Momma went to go get some.

Her smile appeared again at the mention of Camila.
