Baby... Mommy

I went into her room and sat on her bed. Lily Locked eye contact with me and we both, on que, began crying. Tear after tear falling.

Camila eventually came and sat on the other side of the bed and sang a few songs.

After Camila was done she came over and kissed my cheek then went over to Lily and kissed her fourhead. Her absence followed soon after leaving me and Lily getting ourselves together.

Baby...

Mommy...

Lily stood running to me. I embraced her and felt complete joy. She called me mommy. I carried her out to Camila who was sitting on the couch. As soon as I set her down she sped off to Camila kissing her cheek.

Momma tank you...

She called Camila momma... I should have know. She doesnt know better. Poor Camz she got put into a situation she didnt want to be in.

I felt panic as Camila looked up at me standing to her feet.

Lauren...

She called me Lauren not Lolo. She is mad. Or disappointed.

Lauren... I need to go...

With that Camila was gone. I dont blame Lily, I wish Camila was her mom too. But Camila isn't ready for that. She doesnt love me.

It is Christmas and I havent seen Camila since that day. All the girls are on the trampoline with Lily and i am helping my mom set the table while my father is with the girls parents .

Taylor has taken a liking to Lily. They color and sing songs together. Lily has seemed to forget about Camila until someone mentions her. Lily looks down as if in thought.

She has made sleeping with me a habit causing me to awaken one night to her crying momma. When I woke her she cuddled into me as if I made her feel better which made me feel proud of myself.

I started saying I love her a week ago but she doesnt say it back yet. I do not push though. When she is ready will be fine.

The doorbell rang signaling me to answer.  When I opened the door Sofi, Camila's sister, came running to me asking where she is. I pointed her to the backyard and hugged Camila's parents inviting them in. Then I noticed him.

Camila was with Austin the star basketball player for my old high school. His big arm dropped over her shoulder. She didnt make eye contact she simply walked in Austin smirking at me as they entered.

The girls had joined everyone in the living room as Lily and Sofi started giggling. As Lily saw Camz she stopped and looked for me giving me her uncomfortable face.  I got to her and kissed her head encouragingly.

The night was simply neither me or Lily had any interaction with Camila until everyone gathered to look at the stars. Lily had gone inside too get a blanket when she ran into Camila and Austin. Literally ran into them. Austin looked at inexpensive shoes and cussed yelling

Damn kid fucked up my shoes use your eyes next time dip shit.

Lily got teary eyed and looked up at Camila for a second before going up to her room. Camila looked back but followed Austin as he pulled her wrist with him.
