there was a pretty sunset yesterday,
all orange & pink.
it glistened on the lake
& made sparkles in the water
i tried to enjoy it, i really did,
but all i could think about is
how much i wish you were here,
how much you'd like to see it.
i wonder if the sunset 4194 miles away was pretty too
