(To my teacher, you know who you are, please for the love of all things good and holy don't read this... please)

“I got in…”

I actually did it. I looked over to the only picture I have of my mom smiling, I made it into UA.

Izuku Midoriya was thought to be quirkless by most, but the truth was he didn’t find out until later in life -around his tenth birthday- that he even had a quirk, and even then it wasn't flashy like most people had. He called his quirk ‘Analysis’, it allows him to analyze a situation and find a solution. The only drawbacks are that it doesn’t always work, during a fight it works automatically, but outside a fight, he has to focus on his quirk for it to work.

Since his quirk is an invisible quirk and not something physical like exploding hands, he decided to keep it a secret. Figuring he was already bullied for being quirkless he’d be bullied even worse for being a late bloomer and then not even getting a strong heroic quirk would just be the icing on the cake.

He didn’t have the best home life since his mom passed away, and seeing as she was the only one who knew of his late forming quirk, the secret died with her until he decided to share it again. Even with his home life being the way it was school was never his escape like you’d think it’d be. Between Bakugou beating him up every chance he got, and the teachers doing nothing about it, while still having to achieve high grades so he wouldn’t be  punished at home, he felt like he could never catch his breath. That’s why he was so on edge about the up-coming exams to get into UA.
