(I don't know if I already said this, but Izuku is now on summer break. I hope this helps any confusion along the way!)

Then like it never happened the gun was gone and there was a muffled yell. I didn’t want anything to do with a fight in a dark alley so I decided to just walk away.

Let’s just call that instant karma.

“Hey kid, where do you think you’re going?”
“Great,” I whisper,”I’m just going home, there’s no rule against that right?”
“Look kid, you just almost got shot, I’m just trying to make sure you’re okay?”

I froze. I hadn't heard those words in so long, I didn’t even know how to react, ‘you’re okay’ how do I even respond to those words coming from a stranger? I turned to face the man- it was definitely a man's voice- staring at his feet, I knew I had to respond.

“I’m fine,” Yeah right, “ thanks for the save.” I turned around to walk off, but the man grabbed my shoulder, turning me around. By now I had my hood pulled back up so he couldn’t see my face, but I could see his.

“Kid, there’s no way you’re okay after that. I saw him shove your face into the building.”
I winced at that, my face did kinda feel like it was on fire, getting annoyed with this guy I looked up at him, “Like I said before I’m fine-”

I was starstruck, as soon as I saw his face. The goggles gave it away first, it was my all time favorite hero, before I had even known who Allmight was I was focused on him, Eraserhead.

“Y-you’re Eraserhead.” It was only a whisper but he heard it, and he seemed shocked. I guess not too many people recognize him out late on the streets.

“You know who I am?”
“Yeah, you’re the pro-hero Eraserhead right?”
“Yeah kid, I am. Look I’m not gonna hurt you, just let me check your face for any major wounds alright?”

I found myself looking up to see if his eyes are red like they are in the posters, or if they’re a different color when he’s not using his quirk. but as soon as I reach his eyes I regret it, he’s already looking into mine. I could feel it, the soulbond, it’s like a fuzzy, tingling feeling that heats me up from the inside out. He’s one of my soulmates… shit.

When his eyes went wide I knew he could feel it too. I turned and ran, that wasn’t supposed to happen that soon.

“Hey! Stop!” he yelled, “I just wanna talk, why are you running from me?!”
I looked back, he was swinging between buildings and alleyways trying to catch up to me.
“Just leave me alone! I don't want any part of this!”

Finally my quirk kicked in and I noticed all the places I could use to get away from the hero. I chose an alleyway that was covered in shadows making it nearly invisible, ducking into it I held my breath not making a sound. I saw him swinging past yelling out, still trying to find me. Once he was out of sight I ran home, climbed the side of my house, and made it into my room.

Ater locking my door and leaving ym window open for a quick escape- incase Hisashi wants to take out his drunken rage on me. I got changed and layed in bed hoping tomorrow would be less stressful.

Now I have to lay low and hide from a pro-hero, life just doesn’t want to give me a break I guess.

                                                                              Aizawa P.O.V.

He ran away from me, and I didn’t even get a good look at his face, just his eyes. His confusing green eyes, they were  a beautiful green colour but they were so dull, almost like they were dead. He’s my soulmate but he ran away, and he recognized me, not my civilian identity, but as a pro-hero. Nobody ever does that, but he still ran from me. I needed to know why, so I chased him.

This kid could seriously run fast, he only had a few seconds of head start and he was already out of sight. After I searched the rest of the area with no luck, I decided to head home. At least I could tell from the way he moved, so agile and quick, that he hadn’t hit his head hard enough for a serious injury. I needed to get home to tell Hizashi sooner or later anyway. I started running along the rooftops making my way to a better part of town, heading home.

Once I got inside I locked the door and walked over to the couch where Zashi was sitting and took a seat in the chair across from him, waiting for him to put his book down and notice me. It didn’t take long.

“Shouta?”
“Hizashi, we need to talk.”
“Okay, obviously something happened, what’s wrong?”
I hesitated, “I found our soulmate.”

                                                                                Izuku P.O.V.

The next day consisted of hiding myself -incase Eraserhead was on patrol- and spending all my time at an old abandoned warehouse, I had an old punching bag and a beat up couch. I used this place to escape the rest of the world, so there I was hitting the punching bag till my knuckles bled, and then hitting it some more.

When the pain started to numb my hands I stopped and went over to the couch to lay down.

Since it was summer I no longer had to avoid Bakugou. So now I had all this time to prepare for the U.A. entrance exam, the written portion I could pass easily, but there was a combat portion that I wasn’t too confident about. My quirk would definitely help me but my physical strength needed some work.

For the rest of the summer I basically lived at the warehouse, I worked on every physical aspect I could think of that would help me do better on the exam.
