Chapter 4

As he said that I looked at him gesturing him to stop. He said, " Don't you think your being too rude by leaving her there". The lady inside with him scoffed and let me in. She looked at me in disbelief. I gave her an awkward and apologetic look. She pressed the third floor button on the elevator. The elevator stopped and she got out. Our cabin was on the fifth floor. I pressed the button and the elevator went up but it suddenly stopped. It shook lightly which made me fall. The lights turned off. I was scared. I pressed the emergency bell button a number of time but no one was answering. I suddenly heard Taehyung say, " I heard that many times this elevator has got stuck but majority of them weren't able to survive". Why is he scaring me. I looked at him. I stood next to him and held his coat lightly. He did not know it. He said, " Why? are you scared?" I nodded. The elevator suddenly shook. I got scared and let out a light scream which caught Taehyung's attention. He came closer and asked, " Are you ok jin-ae shi" I held onto his arm muscles. The lights came on and the elevator started moving again. I looked at him. He was staring into my soul. I still did not take my hands off his arm. I was gonna remove my hands off his arm but he grabbed my arm by my wrist and looked at me. He said, "Why do you catch me like that and make my heart flutter? When I hold you back you pull away. Just like you did at the staircase" My eyes widened when he said that. Staircase? he remembers me? . "I know your thinking if I remember you. I do and you pulled away before I could ask you anything" As he said that his grip around my wrist tightened. He saw me signaling him to leave my hands. He finally let go. We reached the fifth floor and before I could step out the elevator he said, " Tomorrow I want to hangout with you. You better be ready by 11" He wants to hangout with me? Why me? I did not answer him and was about to leave but he pulled me back and my face was only inches away from his. He whispered in a low voice, " Will you be ready?" I nodded. He let go and waved me a bye before entering his cabin. I was still shocked. What just freaking happened? does he love me? If he does then why me? I am mute? I had so many thoughts wandering around in my mind.

It was 8 pm and I decided to go home early because of yesterday's incident. I took my bag and left. I reached home and I immediately jumped on to my bed thinking about Taehyung. As soon as I heard his handsome figure say, " Will you be ready?" in my mind, I covered my face in my palm. I cupped my cheeks and started dreaming about him. Why is he so handsome? Do I really make his heart flutter?

Next day 

I woke up at the sound of my alarm. I remember Tae telling me that he wants to hangout with me today. I had a bath, ate my breakfast. I went to my closet to find a nice dress. I gave an unsatisfied look at my closet and finally picked a dress. I wore this:

I don't know why but I put on some makeup too. I heard the doorbell ring all of a sudden. I did a quick check on myself in the mirror and opened the door. There was Taehyung who looked handsome as always

This is what he wore. He looked really cozy. I wanted to hug him because he looked so comfortable. He peeped in to my house and saw that it was a mess. He looked at me and said, " Is this a house or a garbage dump? Let's clean your house first we'll go to hangout later" A pout crept on my face as soon as he said that. " Don't pout we have to clean this messy hell" He said he'd help me clean. I first went to the book shelf to arrange and dust the books meanwhile he was gonna arrange the items in the kitchen counter. I took a chair from the end of my room and kept it near the bookshelf. I climbed on it. I still couldn't reach the top shelf. I leaned a bit but I lost balance. I was gonna fall backwards but someone caught me. Taehyung held me and said, " Be careful while you do that" I turned red and my heart started beating faster. " Now will you get off me or should I hold you like this for the entire time?" As soon as I heard that I became so embarrassed. I got up from his grip and bowed to him which was meant to be a thank you. 

Time skip___________

We finally finished cleaning. I was so tired. I laid down on the floor because the floor was cold. I patted on the empty space of the floor next to me signalling him to come lay down. He said no but I patted again furrowing my eyebrows. He said, " You will regret it if I come there" What does he mean. He suddenly laid next to me. He looked at me rolling closer to me. I rolled in the other direction to maintain some distance from him. He suddenly started rolling faster and I rolled faster in the other direction. My back suddenly hit the wall and my face was just a few inches away from his. He put his arm on the wall coming closer. I was moving my head away from his but the wall did not let me move anymore.

I was so red. I suddenly heard him say, "don't ask random men to lay down with you on the floor. Not all of them are like me"
