I ran towards her. "Jin-aesshii gwenchanayo" . The man walked towards her and tried to help her but she slapped his hands away. I tried to lift her up and make her stand. I held her elbows and tried to get her up. As soon as she stood up she hugged me. "Taehyungah get this man away from me" "But jin-ae my darling I have finally come to see you after 20 years. This is what you say in reply?" I held Jin-ae and put her behind my back. "Ajhussi she isn't liking it in here with you. Please try to understand" I said politely. "I am her father. Who are you to command me" I turned towards her looking at her in confusion. "I said go away" she yelled at him. "Darling I am here for you. Why are you talking to me like that?" "Where were you when my mom left me in an empty street freezing in the cold? Where were you when I was hungry and kept begging the people for food? Where were you when a bunch of strangers kidnapped me and I lost my voice?" The person who claimed to be her father looked down in shame. Tears started rolling from his eyes. "After all these years you come here and claim to be my father. You got my mom pregnant and did not take the responsibility. My poor mom had to wander for hours looking for a place to stay" The man started walking backwards. He was lost. He fell to the ground. He was an old man so I grabbed his arm. "Ajhussi gwenchanayo?" He slapped my hands away and got up. He walked away without saying a word.
I went towards Jin-ae who was whimpering like a dog. I bent down to her level and wiped her tears away using my thumb. "You got your memory back?" she nodded her head. She hugged me and began sobbing "Taehyungahh I-I" she was sobbing way too much. I put my index finger on her lip shushing her. "Lets go home" I said and lifted her up in a bridal style. "Yah!! Taehyungahh drop me down" "Be honest, you like it when I lift you" She shyly smiled and nodded.
We reached home. I was really tired from carrying her. I was embarrassed to drop her down. "You can drop me down don't act all macho" she said getting down. I sat on the bed signalling her to come next to me. She sat beside me and put her head on my shoulder. "Taehyungahh" "Hmm?" "Saranghae" she said as she looked at me. I leaned in to kiss her. I kissed her and she kissed me back. I cupped her face making the kiss more deep. Her hands were on my shoulder. She broke the kiss and looked at me. "I am sleepy" I laid her head on my lap. I sang Sweet night.
As I sang I kept patting her head and she slowly drifted off to sleep and so did I.
Next day
Jin-ae POV
Tae woke me up and told me to come with him. I dressed up and got in the car. He stopped the car . This was the place where he gave me the artificial throat surgery appointment. It was a theme park. I was walking outside and stood in front of the car enjoying the scenery.
He left me up in the air which made me look taller

"I love you" he said in whispery tone. "Taehyungahh I am sorry. For not remembering you sooner" "I am sorry for leaving you alone that day" I bent down and kissed him by cupping his face. I could hear people shouting and cheering. I love him to the moon and back. Never in my life will I let go of this precious man who changed my life.
