Sorry that this is such a short chapter. The next one will be longer.

Enoch went straight to Amelia and his meeting place. She probably wasn't going to be there until morning but he needed to tell her what just happened and warn her about the woman.

"Enoch, why are you still here. Well I thought i should come here you know gut instinct and all."

"Amelia, please be really careful. This mad woman just came into my house asking me to go with her and saying she's some weird shapeshifter. She knows what I can do and when Sophia asked me to come to dinner she turned into a bird and flew out the window. But before that she wanted me to say where you lived."

"And you told her what?" She looked concerned.

"I told her I would never say anything about you and told her to get out." He replied.

"Good, so did she threaten you or anything?"

"Kind of. She said there were these shadow monsters that hunt people like me and that they've almost found me."

"I think we should try find her." Enoch was to dumbstruck to even respond to this," I think it would be good to know more about what she's on about, and obviously we're the same of she asked about me as well. She doesn't sound like the kind of person to just ask about random other people. And besides, if she attacks us, there's two of us against one old woman, how hard could it be?" She shrugged.

"Are you mad? That would be walking into the enemies trap!"

"But we don't know if she's the enemy yet. These shadow monsters could be. We may never know if we don't try to find out."

"Fine," Enoch knew he'd lost the argument," But if we get killed, I'm blaming you!"

"I'm glad you've finally come to you're senses Mr O'Connor, Miss Abraham's is very correct. I am not the enemy yet. If you were to be taken by the enemies however, then we'd be enemies."
