jahseh was getting ready for another day at the office you both worked at , he was in the bathroom of his two bedroom apartment twisting the ends of his dreads
more than likely out of nervousness considering he has been talking to himself in the bathroom for about an hour , he has been dressed for about five hours now
" why am I so nervous?" he tugged at one of his fading blue dreads , " come on jahseh its not hard see let's practice " ,
he slammed his hands against the cold sink staring at himself in the mirror " I like- I want to.." , he put his head down into his arms " dammit " the sound of the weeknd's : thursday overtook his thoughts as his phone rang
" hello? " it was stokeley someone he slightly green-eyed , because it seemed stokeley got all your attention but you two have known one another since you were a teen something jahseh wished he had the luxury of
" jahseh are you sick? , you're late this isn't like you "
LATE HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN IN HERE?!
" uh no just traffic I'll be there soon sorry ! " he quickly hung up straightening out his black button up and gray slacks

he jumped into his car pulling off at a reasonable speed downtown to the office building
Y/N POV
you were sitting in your office trying to complete work you've been putting off for three days as stokeley was ' filing papers ' aka using all your printer paper to draw on since your boss wasn't here today
" stokeley how am I gonna use my printer with NO paper?" he laughed " why don't you ask jahseh when he gets here , I'm sure he'll be happy to help "
you rolled your eyes knowing he was teasing you about your crush " I mean why don't you tell him already it's so obvious he is into you "
you sighed " but I don't know.. I'm just worried he won't have good intentions " , stokeley slightly pouted " y/n I know you've been with some terrible people in the past but I swear not everyone is that way "
you broke eye contact glaring at the dark gray carpet " I know.. it's just hard to believe anyone " stokeley walked over to you hugging you around your shoulders " hey doesn't this drawing look like you ?"
he showed you a stick figure with a humongous head you both laughed as you pushed him off of you " shut up ! " looking up through the glass door you saw jahseh staring he was slightly panting as if he ran a marathon
all three of you staring at one another.
jahseh dropped his brown leather duffel bag , quickly sprinting away
JAHSEH'S POV
I've never seen them that close on each other before , could they.. no it's not possible I would have noticed the signs am I too late ?
no I can't be he wouldn't do that to me not after I told him I was into them right?...right ?

jahseh walked out of the hallway area and back into the office you weren't in the office anymore , but now near the hallway door talking to stokeley
jahseh grabbed your wrist walking out the office, past the elevator, past the cafeteria and before you knew it you both were outside underneath the apple tree
you two were breathing hard after walking so far across the building
" y/n please just answer this question for me " confused you nodded as an approval
" do you have romantic feelings for stokeley? "
" what no I- ew stokeley ? " you chuckled " I could see how anyone could think that but stokeley is dating someone jahseh and post service announcement he has for the past five years jahseh "
it was like jahseh had a weight lifted off his shoulders, his mind , his heart but he felt stupid.. five years ? was he the only one at the office who didn't know that?
he squatted on his legs , one arm across his warm face " y/n I don't know how the hell to say this I think about doing this damn near everyday "
