Sonic, Tails and Herb where walking around the village, Sonic was twiddling with his thumbs while Tails was trying to find the house. Once they did eventually stop at a house, one both Sonic and Tails knew well.
Tails: Nervous?
Sonic: Wha? Pffft!
Tails: Yeah, sure
Tails knocked on the door while Sonic was twiddling his thumbs while Herb just patted Sonic's shoulder. A mobian hedgehogs then opened the door.
Bernadette: Tails, how are you?
Tails: Great! You?
Bernadette: I've been fine, still a little empty, but I'm doing better, same goes for Jules! So what brings you here?
Tails: Um yeah, heh... actually, I wanted you to meet two mobians. The cheetah is Herb
Herb: How do ya do?
Bernadette: Oh hello, I'm Bernadette, my husband is inside, and who's the other friend?
Tails: Um... you already know him
Tails stepped aside and now Sonic was in plain sight, Emerald eyes was still nervous, he didn't know how to reintroduce himself. The female hedgehog's eyes widened, she couldn't believe what she was seeing, her son, right there, but, it can't be possible.
She slowly went over to him as Herb also stepped aside, she cupped his face with her hands and rubbing his face with her right thumb.
Another hedgehog came out, he was a robotic one though.
Jules: Bernie? Who is it?
He then saw Sonic... he stood there, Tails and Herb stayed quiet to let them have their moment.
Jules: Sonic?
Sonic: Heh... Hey dad
Bernadette then hugged her son with tears in her eyes, she couldn't believe what she was witnessing
Bernadette: Oh Chaos have mercy!
Jules: But, how?
Tails: With a bit of rewriting
Jules: What do you mean?
Sonic: Chaos rewrote me into history (We Need to Talk), now I'm in a pickle
Bernadette: How come?
Herb: Lets just say, Sonic was rewritten as prince of Mobotropolis and he had the same personality as he always did apparently, and since he ran away since he was going to be forced into the crown, he ran with the rest of us. (We Can Rewrite History)
Jules: Esh, that is a pickle you all have yourselves in, come in
The did and once they did, they sat down on the couch, Herb was looking around, she saw all the pictures of them together, they honestly look happy as a family, but she also noticed two other hedgehogs in a family pic
Herb: Who are they?
Sonic: Oh! Thats Sonia and Manic, my siblings!
Herb: Where are they?
Sonic: Fulfilling their dreams.
Jules: So, why come to us?
Tails: We want to accuse the queen of kidnapping, and you guys have all the evidence needed to make it happen? (Search Party)
Bernadette: And who's the lawyer?
Tails: I was thinking of Sally, but in case, I have two other contests in mind
Bernadette: You don't mean-
Tails: Yep
Sonic & Herb: Who?
Tails: Sonic, these two are new to you, but... as much as a risk it is, Starline and Mimic, one is an Eggman fan-boy, another, he was once friends with Whisper, and he turned against her
Herb: So you're going to trust two enemies to be the lawyer? Thats dangerous!
Tails: But helpful, Starline is good at making reason and thinking of stuff on the spot, Mimic has gotten away with treason several times
Sonic: And how do you manage to get them to do it for you?
Tails: Well-
He was interrupted by a bang at the door
Sonic, Tails & Herb: FRIK!
The guards of Mobotropolis then burst through the door of the house, then the stupid-fake-queen walked in as the guards held the owner and guest of the house.
Tails: You little-
Queen: Language young fox
Tails: Your not my mother, in fact, my mother was nicer than you
Queen: YOU took my son from ME!
Bernadette: Who the heck do you think you are say he's your son?!
Queen: I gave him life!
Bernadette: WHAT KIND OF QUEEN ACCUSES MOBIAN OF THINGS THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FOR ANYWAYS?!
Queen: ... Leave the nurse and the two fake parent here, I only need the fox and my son
Sonic: Oh really? Well... I think my powers say no
With that Sonic leaped out of grip from the guard and freed the others.
Sonic: Guys come on!
The started to ditch the house when suddenly, Tails felt a familiar feeling, but it soon left when he was hit in the back of the head.
Sonic: TAILS!
Without knowing, a guard caught up to him and put a black bracelet cuff thing
Sonic: The frik?!
Queen: Don't try, this cuff was created to cut off your power, so you won't be able to use it unless I take it off
Sonic: But I can EASILY take it off myself!
Queen: No you can't this has magical properties as well, not only can you not use your powers, but the mobian who wears it can't take it off themselves, only the person this cuff's blood is in link with. Now come on, I have a special surprise for the thing here
Sonic: What did you call him?!
Queen: An it, it's nothing more
Sonic: You really are heartless
Sonic's fur slightly darkens, but he knew that killing her won't make him better
Queen: Let us head home now!
They walk away, but little do they know, that a certain someone was watching.
