Part 2 - Butterflies

Getting butterflies - It's a stomach flip that can only occur when you're very attracted to and enticed by another person. It's a nervousness that your partner makes you feel. The butterflies are due to a rush of dopamine that the brain releases on first falling in love.

★Recap of last chapter: Most members of the DreamSMP had talked about a meet up in Orlando and George had seen his mother in a vulnerable state, Dream and George talked after leading to George asking him to visit Dream early.

♡One more little note: i'm thinking of putting recaps on every chapter because I know sometimes with cliff hangers or mid-scene you can forget what happened last chapter, thoughts on this every chapter?

June 4th

The room had become more dim since entering it earlier that day, at this point there was zero light trying to shine through George's curtains and the room was only lit by the light coming from his computer that was in front of him when he asked the words he had not thought through and was a shock to even him when they passed his lips.

"Can I come stay with you for a bit?"

The call was silent for a brief moment when George picks up on what he had just asked and Dream was trying to think of a response with the sentence that had been thrown at him with no ease.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't of just sprung that on you," George started to quickly say, "I just thought that I don't know, like," George was desperate to think of something to save him self but was quickly cut off.

"George, calm down." Clay says softly and added a slight chuckle at George's panicking.

"Of course you can George, did you want to come and stay before we see everyone else?" Clay asks and to George's surprise that sounded like a yes.

"I-I don't know. If i'm being honest i didn't give much thought to it I just sort of..."

"Spat it out?" Clay says finishing his sentence when George couldn't.

"Yeah, that."

"Well I guess you could come see me earlier than the others, I mean you haven't bought the ticket yet right? Plus then this way you could stay with me if you wanted, I have a spare room."

George's mind was clustered from Clay's upbeat tone and thought back to his notes from earlier.

"I mean I guess that makes sense, it's a good idea but what would we do if I come to see you earlier?"

"Whatever you wanted to do I guess." Both of their minds trying to come up with activities and things to pass the time with. "Oh I know," Clay announced with a very exciting tone. "We could go to the new diner that opened up down the road and I haven't got to try yet."

"Didn't you say there was a laser tag near you?" George not answering his first suggestion but instead stating his own.

"Yeah there is but c'mon George we are not going there it's for kids." Clay says shutting down the idea before it starts.

"Well you are no fun."

"I am fun, i'm just not doing laser tag with you." Clay replied.
