"Stay with me... I won't ask "forever." Just for now, Eiji."

Eiji was in shock and crying, while Sing and
(Y/N) tried to hold him back.
He said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," over and over. He was torn up and couldn't believe that Ash was truly dead. Eiji was devastated and felt like he had lost a part of himself.

Never in his life was he so overwhelmed with sadness and fear. Eiji promised he would wait, and he did.

He should have never come back here.

A few days later

Ash's funeral was planned and it was going to happen soon. Many people were sad to hear the news, but they knew that he would finally be at peace now. Eiji could still remember how Ash was always crying when he had nightmares. He never was sure what it was that Ash was afraid of, but it always seemed to trigger his nightmares. The pain was so intense, he couldn't put into words.

Eiji wasn't sure if he could go to his funeral without breaking down. During the short time he was unable to do anything, Sing and (Y/N) had to force him to try. He was barely able to move, let alone get out of bed on his own.

On the day of Ash Lynx's funeral, it was pouring rain. Many people had come to pay their respects, and the street was full of umbrellas.

Rain was a fitting symbol of how life goes on, even after someone dies.

Max and Ibe had planned everything for Ash's funeral. Ibe returned from Japan to support everyone, as he knew the importance of that day. They had made arrangements with the mortuary and purchased the burial plot, also selecting the flowers for the funeral.

Ash had a positive impact on Max, always teaching him important life lessons. He seemed really hurt too, even if he didn't show it.

No words could describe how heartbroken Eiji was on that day. Never has he felt so lost and alone in his life. Neither (Y/N) nor Sing knew what to think about Ash's death; they were both devastated. Even after Ash had gone missing, Sing still felt like it was his fault. He kept thinking that if only he had done something differently, he would still be alive.

(Y/N) thought that she should have paid more attention to Ash, that they should have known that after everything that happened, he wasn't safe. There wasn't much information released about his death, but it is believed that he had been killed, as there was evidence of a violent death.

There is no definitive answer as to who may have committed the crime, or why.

The funeral service was held in the church. Not too many people attended the funeral, as it was more of a private ceremony. Ash was on the news once again, and the case was regaining lots of attention. There was a lot of discussion surrounding this topic.

(Y/N) saw Sing coming. None of them said anything for a moment, just glancing at one other. The two of them hugged, neither saying a word.

Sing reached out to Eiji too, and the two hugged each other tightly. It was truly a moment of comfort and support for both of them. Everyone was gathered outside before the funeral began (Y/N) noticed a familiar figure standing nearby. She soon realized who it was, and it was no other than Yut-Lung. That was the last person they were expecting to see, the whole time (Y/N) even Sing had not heard from him, they did not know what he had been doing for the past year.

Yut-Lung was alone and even was properly dressed for the occasion. It seemed as if he was in a bad mood, clearly being upset about something.

(Y/N) immediately approached him.
"Yut-Lung? What are you doing here?"
