I wanna go ahead and say that this is NOT an original idea!
I am inspired by another story called "Platypus" by another creator on this platform! I definitely think they should get the credit for this!
DirntsHomies is the creator of the story called "Platypus" and it is such an AMAZING story and they are so so cool so give them a follow and read their story, eh? Anyway! If you don't I'll punch you (jk). Let's get into it.

Again, thank you for your permission to let me do something similar. And thank you for giving me the inspiration. :)

I roll my eyes as I listen to the noise in the basement downstairs. Trè invited his band mates over again. I then smiled, that meant Mike was here.

I always favoured Mike over Billie, even though I adored both of them. I was never sure why. Even when we were a bit younger, I had always adored Mike. I took off my jacket, making my way down to the basement where my brother and his friends were practicing my favorite song. "Going to Pasalaqua." Yeah. Weird fucking name. "Just because mom and dad isn't home doesn't mean you can just practice as loud as you want." I yelled over the music, making Trè stop playing drums as Mike and Billie followed quickly. Looking up at me as I rested my arms on the banister of the stairs. Looking down at the guys below me. "Makayla. Go back upstairs." Trè frowned. Clearly embarrassed I had interrupted his practice. "She's alright man. She's just watching." Billie smiled at Trè, "Besides... we need a break. We've been playing for hours." Mike added in. "You guys want anything to drink? I asked Mike and Billie, ignoring Trè for being rude to me earlier. Yes it was childish, but me and him fought like cats and dogs. "Oh, do you guys just have a coke?" Mike asked me, "Mike. We always have coke. You practically live here." I chuckled flirtatiously, making Mike laugh. "Billie?" I said, exclusively ignoring Trè. "Uh... a coke for me too." He chuckled. "And I want-" "Fuck you. Get it yourself asshole." I frowned at Trè, cutting him off. I got upstairs, grabbing three cokes out of the fridge. I frowned as I looked at the fourth coke in the fridge. "Dammit." I mumbled to myself, grabbing it for Trè. He was an asshole but I still loved him. I hated being mean to him. "Here you go guys." I smiled, handing Mike and Billie one. "Thank you." They both smiled, making me nod. Before taking one over to Trè. "Thought I didn't get nothing?" He chuckled, "Depends. Gonna stop being an asshole?" I joked. "God you're childish. Give me my drink." He laughed, making me chuckle as I handed it to him. "Thank you sis, I love you." He smiled. "I love you too Trè." I laughed, walking over to Billie, taking a look at his guitar. "Have you learned anything else yet?" He asked me. A few months ago Billie convinced me to take guitar lessons, I've always wanted to play bass though. Regardless, I enjoy guitar. "I have. My teacher says I'm doing Good." I smiled at Billie, "Good." He chuckled. "Speaking of which..." I said, turning towards Mike. "Uhm. My teacher don't know Bass. And I was wondering if you would help me? I will pay you." I smiled, blushing. "Oh, yeah I can do that. Any day you want. Just call me." He smiled. "Thanks Mike." I smiled.
"I feel dirty. You guys can practice, I'm going to to go shower." I smiled, walking about of the basement and going upstairs to the bathroom. Undressing myself as I frowned at myself in the mirror. My self confidence took a nose dive... especially after my last relationship. Suddenly I heard the doorknob click, before I could get a towel on I looked up only to see Mike! "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" He yelled, closing the door quickly. Oh my dear fucking god. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?
Mike just walked in on me. "Makayla. I'm so sorry... I didn't know you were in this bathroom." Mike apologized through the door. He had a point. We had two bathrooms in our home. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. "It's alright Mike... just learn to fucking knock." I laughed nervously trying to write it off. "I'll let you take your shower. I'm sorry again." He said, I then heard him shuffle away from the door. I frowned, dropping off my towel and quickly getting into the shower.

Mike's P.O.V:
"I have to go piss guys." I chuckled. "Alright. Go for it." I heard from Billie, Trè nodding. I hurried out of the basement and into the main level of the house. Walking up the stairs, passing by Makayla's room. Peeking inside to see if she was there just to pick on her. She's so cute when she gets frustrated. I walked up to the bathroom door, listening quietly to see if she was in there, I didn't hear a noise so I opened the door. Suddenly I saw her in front of me, naked. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I yelled, trying not to look at her as I closed the door. How big of a fucking idiot am I?! I should've knocked... I heard Makayla's silence for a moment as I stood on the other side of the door. "Makayla. I'm so sorry... I didn't know you were in this bathroom." I apologized. It was an honest mistake. I feel so terrible. "It's alright Mike... just learn to fucking knock." She laughed nervously through the door, it wasn't a real laugh. She was uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable. I have memorized her beautiful laugh. "I'll let you take your shower. I'm Sorry again." I said, shuffling from the door and down the stairs. She has every right to fucking choke me. God... what did I do.

Back To Makayla's P.O.V:
I stepped out of the shower, the cold air hitting my body as I shivered slightly. I thought about when Mike walked in on me. I know it wasn't his fault but I want to slap the absolute shit out of him. I covered myself with my towel again, walking out of the bathroom, looking at the floor before I felt myself bump into the hard chest of someone. Mike. I looked up at him. Mike had always been taller than me, even when we were a bit younger. Even at 21, he still managed to be taller even though he was only 22. One year older. "Hey.." He said nervously. "You know I should fucking punch you." I scowled. "I know, I know. Believe me. I'd understand if you did." Mike frowned. God... he's cute. "Hey. I'll let it go this time." I chuckled, trying to lighten up the mood. "What are you going up here anyway?" I asked. "Oh! Billie sent me up here to get his tuner. He said he left it in Trè's room for some reason. But I can't find it." Mike frowned. "Oh, it's almost Impossible to find anything in his room. Here. I'll help you." I smiled, ignoring the fact I was in a towel. Leading him into Trè's room. I couldn't be mad at Mike. His charm always pulled me in. It's a shame Trè would fucking freak out if he saw us together. He's super protective.

Mike's P.O.V:
I was walking back into Tre's room as I suddenly bumped into Makayla, feeling very awkward from the encounter earlier. I looked down at her, only a towel covering her beautiful, pale skin. I tried to push away any inappropriate thoughts as I held back a chuckle. She's only one year younger but she's so small... I find it adorable. "Hey.." I said nervously. "You know I should fucking punch you." She scowled at me, this made me chest tighten. God... she's so fucking hot when she's angry. I always noticed that when she was angry, she would dig her nails into her palms. Her brows knitting together as her voice dropped in pitch. It's something I picked up on long ago. "I know, I know. Believe me. I'd understand if you did." I frowned at her, feeling guilty from before. She's so beautiful. "Hey. I'll let it go this time." She chuckled, her beautiful voice instantly lightening the mood. "What are you doing up here anyway?" She asked, slapping me back into reality. "Oh! Billie sent me up here to get his tuner. He said he left it in Trè's room for some reason. But I can't find it." I frowned. "Oh, it's almost impossible to find anything in his room. Here. I'll help you." She smiled, leading me into Trè's room. There's something about this girl that pulls me in. It's a shame I have no chance. There's no way she likes me. It's not like Trè would ever let that happen anyway.
