I stood in the kitchen with Mike, his soft smile drawing me in. "Earlier was rather... interesting, huh?" Mike asked, letting out a low chuckle. "You don't say." I said sarcastically, making Mike let out a throaty giggle. "You're cute when you're all sarcastic." Mike smiled. "Not sure about that, Pritchard." I smirked back, Mike raising an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I'm not all that cute." I frowned, my lack of confidence being thrown out all at once. I felt myself being lifted, Mike sitting me on the counter. "Makayla Faith Wright... you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen..." Mike complimented, making me blush. "Mike... stop." I sighed. He then cornered me, not allowing me off the counter. "No... you need to know this." Mike frowned. His warm hand now resting on my face. "You're so fucking beautiful, inside and out. You light up my world, sweetheart. You're.... everything I've ever wanted." Mike smiled at me, my stomach turning. This was the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me. "Baby..." I said, putting my hand on his cheek as well. "I love you, Michael Ryan." I smiled, putting my forehead against his. "I love you too, Makayla Faith." Mike smiled back. "Gag." I heard a voice say from behind us, we turned around only to see Billie stifling a chuckle. "Oh shut up, I'm sure you're the same with Adrienne." I frowned at him. "Of course I am. I love that woman more than life itself." Billie smiled. "I'm just playing anyway. It's kinda cute." He laughed, walking to the fridge and grabbing a beer. "How's Trè?" I asked, Billie shrugging. "Fine I guess. He's still a bit upset but he's calmed down." Billie responded. "Teaches him to not fucking eavesdrop." Mike muttered. "Oh my god. Stop acting like children. You need to go down to the basement, and talk to Trè." I groaned. Making Mike's brows knit together. "I guess you're right." He sighed to me, "Stay here, Billie. I'll be back." Mike frowned, making Billie nod at Mike before he walked down to the basement.

Mike's P.O.V:
"Hey Trè." I said quietly, the air growing thick as he turned around to look at me. "Mike." He said quietly, his brows furrowing into a frown. "We need to talk." I sighed, "I have nothing to say to you, Mike." Trè frowned at me, turning back to his project he was fiddling with. "Trè. It was very wrong of me to keep my feelings and relationship with Makayla hidden from you." I sighed, Trè freezing. "I was an ass. I don't expect an apology and you're right to be angry at me. But you do have to understand that I love your sister. I adore everything about that young woman." I continued, Trè turning to me. "Continue." He said, crossing his arms smugly. "I'm sorry for being a dick. I shouldn't have kept it from you. But I'm in love with her, Trè. She's everything I've ever wanted. If you'll allow me to, I'll spend every day I have left making her happy. And if not... I understand." I sighed. Every word coming from the heart. I've fucked up... I love Makayla more than anything, but I don't think any girl is worth losing my one of best friends. "Mike. I forgive you. I'm not angry that you're with Makayla. I'm angry that you kept it from me. That's fucked." Trè frowned, my head dropping as I nodded. "However, I'm glad you'll treat her right. I'd rather it be you than some piece of shit." Trè smiled at me softly. "So... we're cool..?" I asked softly, making Trè smirk. "Of course." Trè smiled, bringing me into a hug. "Let's get back upstairs before they think we have killed each other." I laughed, making Trè giggle. "Okay." He agreed, then we began to march up the steps. Thank fuck this is over.

Makayla's P.O.V:
"It's been a bit, Billie... what if they're fighting?" I asked nervously, wanting nothing more than for this to be over. I can't come in between Mike and Trè. I know how much they care for each other. Billie shrugged at me before I heard two sets of footsteps coming up the steps. "Hey." Mike smiled at me as Trè stepped from behind him. "You done bickering like children?" Billie asked, Trè letting out a laugh before nodding. "Good." I added in, finally glad this fucking mess was over. Mike then walked over to me, wrapping his arm around me. "I love you, you know that?" Mike asked me, "I do. I love you too." I smiled, leaning my head into his shoulder as Billie and Trè struck up a conversation. "It's 3:00 what does everyone want to eat?" Trè asked. "Shouldn't mom and dad be home soon?" I asked, making Trè nod. "In fact, I think they're pulling in the driveway now." Mike said, making us look out the window. He was right. We waited a few moments before mom and dad walked in, Mike stepping away from me. "Can you kids help us with these groceries?" My mother asked us, a string of okays following as we walked outside to help with groceries, after helping with groceries we were back at square one, bored and wondering what to do for the rest of the day. Suddenly a idea popped in my head. "Hey guys. We should go bowling." I smiled, making them turn their heads to me. "That's actually not a half bad idea, Wright." Billie smirked at me, making Mike and Trè nod in agreement. "I'm down if you two are." Trè smiled at Billie and Mike. "Lemme get my wallet. I'll pay. I need to get dressed anyway." I smiled, it was the least I could do for getting Mike and Trè in a mess. "Kayla. You don't have to-" "I want to, it's the least I can do." I smiled, cutting Mike off. He frowned. "Fine..." Mike muttered. I laughed, walking upstairs and getting dressed in some black skinny jeans, some black converse, and a plain black crop top. I brushed my hair, walking back downstairs where the boys were waiting. "Oi! Makayla!" I heard Billie yelled to me as I walked to them. "Hm?" I said, looking to Billie. "We have made a proposal." Trè smirked. "Let's hear it." I sighed, rolling my eyes, knowing it was going to be bullshit probably. "Trè and I are on a Team. And you and Mike team up, whoever loses, has to buy dinner." Billie smirked at me, I looked over and up at Mike, his facial features curled into a smile. "What do ya say, Kayla? We can beat these losers." Mike smirked, making me smile at him. "You're on, Armstrong." I smiled at Billie, making him giggle. "Great. Let's get going." Trè said, Mike grabbing my hand as we walked out the door to the car.

This should be fun.
