LET ME OUT!!

Kai woke up startled, already feeling something was wrong. The room around him, even without his glasses, looked wrong. He felt the chill of the room. It felt industrial, artificial.

He reached for his glasses, grasping only air. He searched his surroundings and found them near the foot of the bed. He slipped them on and looked around cautiously, realizing he was not in his room.

He didn't recognize the room. It looked modern, with walls that were white and reflective, like glass. He looked around the room and saw a window, a shelf, and two doors. Kai looked out the window and saw tall buildings in the distance. From where he was sitting, Kai could tell he was high up.

He looked at the shelf built into the wall, empty. One of the doors was open. From the mirror and the bathtub, he could tell it was a bathroom.

After a couple more minutes of thinking, trying to rationalize what was going on, he slid out of his bed. A bit of shock hit him as his feet gently hit the hard seamless tiled floor. The floor was colder than he expected. He pulled his feet back for a second before putting them back on the floor, now knowing what to expect.

He stood up and walked over to the window, as he thought, the room he was in was high up in a tall building. He walked into the bathroom, and as expected, it was similar to the room he had previously been in; white, cold, and clean.

He walked over to the second door and tried to turn the handle, but it wouldn't budge. Although he knew it wouldn't do anything, Kai tried the door again. Still nothing. He banged on the door, shaking the handle. Confused and angry, he shouted.

"HEY!! ASSHOLES! LET ME OUT!"

As if to threaten the door, not even sure if there was a person on the other side of the door, he started calm and began screaming.

"If you don't open this door right now, I WILL KILL YOUR FAMILY. I WILL STOMP YOUR HEAD INTO A SIDEWALK AND CASTRATE YOU!!"

Angered by the lack of response, he continued banging on the door! Shaking the handle as hard as he could, he started to cry. He continued to rage and flail at the door for some time until he became weak and tired. He fell to the floor sobbing.

Kai suddenly became dizzy, there was an odd smell in the air. Just as he realized what it was, he fell asleep.
