"Dodge, Double Trouble!" Izuku shouted at Himiko.

Izuku never thought Himiko's first mission as a vigilante would be like this , in broad daylight. Long story short, Izuku and the gang (minus Dabi, who was still on Dagobah) were taking Himiko out on their first patrol of the city, since Izuku was currently on break. One brief sweep of the city wouldn't take too long . Of course, at that very moment, some low level villains decided to wreck downtown.

Izuku sighed. What was the point of destroying things for the hell of it?

The sad thing was, the villains were actually doing a pretty good job of it. One had an enlargement quirk that activated in his arms, which he was using to crush the nearby buildings. Another had a highly energetic vibration quirk, which he used to cause earthquakes. The last one had a shockwave quirk, which he used to keep the police out of the way. Not that there were many to begin with. It wasn't just the villains or the damage control the vigilantes had to worry about, either...

...it was the civilians.

Which leads to the present, where Izuku was telling his adoptive sister to dodge an incoming attack while he carried a civilian to safety, visor equipped and new gear on hand. Chiryuka and Kiniku, or Brains and Brawn on the field, were busy with damage control, also trying to wear down the villains. Izuku had gotten most of the citizens to safety at this point, there was just a mother and her little boy-

The shockwave villain noticed them.

The world slowed down for Izuku as he started running. The shockwave villain swatted Chiryuka off of his shoulder. He was almost there. The villain raised his hand, about to activate his quirk. He was almost there. The mother curled over her child, ready to take the brunt of the attack. He was almost there. With a final burst of energy, Izuku darted in front of the civilians, throwing a red knife.

Then he was immediately sent flying.

The villain screeched in pain as the knife lodged into his shoulder. In his rage, he tried using his quirk... only to find that it didn't work. Kiniku gave him a left hook square in the jaw, knocking him out. Chiryuka and Himiko took care of the remaining villains, before running away from the police. Himiko didn't need to be caught on her first day. While Chiryuka contacted Dabi back on the beach, the others wondered where Izuku would end up.

One thing was for certain: he wasn't going to make it to his next shift.

Ochako thought she had known fear.

She had felt it when she was about to be crushed by the zero pointer. She had felt it when she was ambushed in the alleyway after the exam. She had felt it when Katsuki had nearly killed her during the battle trial. Now, several feet away from actual villains and without communication with U.A., Ochako was feeling more afraid than ever before. Here there was no Fuyasuka, no Tenya, no-

"...iiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnNNNNNNCOOOOOMIIIINNNNNGG!!!!!" *CRASH!*

The upper part of the dome gave way as something- no, someone - crashed through it at top speed, plummeting into the dark hulkish figure behind the hands villain, and sending them both toppling across the USJ's main floor. Ochako took a double take. Was that-? No, it couldn't-! But it was. It was that vigilante from before. The rest of her class looked just as perplexed, except for Aizawa, who was already charging towards the confused villains. "Everyone! To the exits!" Pro Hero Thirteen alerted, shaking the class back to reality.

Before they reached the exit, a familiar black cloud emerged in front of them.

"I'm afraid I won't allow that," said the voice within the mist. Some of the students began shaking in fear. "We are the League of Villains. We have come to kill All Might... though oddly enough, he isn't here." The voice muttered to himself in contemplation. "However," he began again, "Perhaps we can remedy this situation-" "And you plan on doing that how?" interrupted another voice. "Oh, it's actually quite- wait..."
