"All right, Mighty Shrimps, today is the day, we've all been waiting for. It's the Homecoming game!" The announcer said over the coms as I looked around. I finally found Addison and I ran over.
"Oh thank god, I thought your parents were going to kill you." I wrapped the 'blonde' in a hug and she half heartedly returned it. "What's the verdict?" I asked and she frowned.
"I told them I was out with a boy. Don't worry, I denied you were there. But they won't let me cheer until they meet the boy." Realisation dawned.
"Zed." She nodded. "Crap."
"Yeah, I'm gonna go find Zed and tell him. He's probably worried. I'll see you at the game." Addison headed off and I continued walking. I spotted the Acey's walking away from Eliza who looked confused. I narrowed my eyes at the three who ran past without giving me a second glance. What are they up to?
"Hey, Eliza." I waved as I walked over.
"Oh, hey Clara." She picked up her bag and I stood next to her.
"What were the Acey's saying to you?" I asked and she shrugged.
"To be honest, I don't even know. They were just acting weird." Eliza shrugged as we walked.
"That's pretty normal for them but trust me, whatever they were doing it wasn't good. The Acey's and Bucky are very Anti-Zombie. If they were talking to you it was because they were up to something." She raised an eyebrow.
"Thanks for the warning." Eliza said and I shrugged.
"They've always been jerks so it's no problem." She laughed a little and we continued on our way.

I sat with Eliza and Bonzo as the game raged on. It was the perfect amount of sound through my sound proof headphones.
"Well, it's been a season to remember and it all comes down to the final seconds of this year's Homecoming game." The announcer said and they called for a time out. "Mighty Shrimp are down by five. They call their final time out." They huddled and I didn't bother to listen. They broke and Zed talked to Addison for a moment. Then she ran back over to the cheer squad and stood in front of everyone.
"Give me a 'Zom'!" She shouted and the crowd said it back. Bucky walked closer to her. "Give me a 'bie'!" Once again we repeated it and I shouted as well.
"You are way too good of a cheerleader to throw your life away, Addison." Bucky said and I was hoping Addison would finally stand up for herself.
"I'm cheering for a change, Bucky." She pushed him back and I smiled. That's my human!
"Don't do it." He warned.
"Give me a 'Zom'!" She said and we repeated it back, me shouting it extra loud. "Give me a 'bie'!" I shouted the response even louder.
