I reached the edge of the woods and spotted Addison waiting for me by the fence. I waved as I got closer and we started walking towards school together.
"Made a decision?" I asked and she nodded, giving me a smile.
"When I see the wolves, I'm gonna put the necklace on. I think they might actually be my pack." Addison said and I gave her a smile.
"Ok, just remember. I'll back you up no matter what." I gave the 'blonde' a side hug and she smiled.
"Same here." We arrived at the school and Addison was getting stares since she was wearing the outfit she got from the wolves.
"It's election day, Seabrook! We have an assembly to hear from our presidential candidates, and it is going to be so good to see you all."
"Whoa! Bad hair day?" Lacey asked as we passed by their table.
"Bad hair life?" Stacey said and we spun to face them.
"I think it looks great." Addison told them and I smiled. Way to go.
"Yeah, not so much." JC said and they all snapped their fingers.
"Addison, if you ever expect to be cheer captain..." Lacey started to say but Addison cut her off.
"Well, maybe I don't. Maybe cheer team isn't for me after all." They gasped at her words and ran off.
"Addison!" A voice called and we turned to see Zed running towards us. "I was up all night thinking. You're not a werewolf, you can't be."
"But I love moonlight strolls." She said and he sighed.
"Yeah, you like sunsets too. That doesn't mean you're a vampire." The zombie boy said and they both turned to me.
"I do like sunset." I joked. "I'll wait for you over there." I patted Addison on the shoulder and gave Zed a warning glance. I walked away to let the couple talk. I waited by the corner and didn't bother listening in on the conversation. After a minute Addison walked over and together we looked for the wolves.
"Any clue?" She asked and I sniffed the air.
"That way." I pointed and we went in said direction.
"It's a good plan, Willa." We heard Wyatt say as we approached them.
"What plan?" Addison asked and they all turned to us. I smiled at Wyatt and he returned it.
"We're going after the moonstone. Top secret. You can't tell anyone." Wynter said before realising what she did. "Bad wolf, bad wolf!"
"You're going after the moonstone now?" Addison asked and Wyatt answered.
"It won't survive the detonation."
"Then let us join you. I'm ready to become a wolf."
"If you really are one." Willa said as Addison pulled out the box. She opened it but the necklace wasn't there.
