Neville's Pov:
I can't believe Seamus did that to me. I've been embarrassed before but not in front of HER. I fled the great hall as soon as I could and I went straight to my dorm. "I hope she doesn't know that he was talking about her, THAT wouldn't be really good....unless she feels the same way...NO, she'd probably never go for a guy like me" I muttered to myself. "Neville! Wait up" I heard. That sounded a lot like.....oh no please tell me it's not her. "Hey Neville", I turned around and of course it was y/n. "H-Hey Y/n" I said. Really? Hey y/n? That the best I could come up with? "what was all that about?" she asked, "oh n-nothing. Seamus was just encouraging me t-to talk to a girl I kind of fancy"
Y/N pov:
I felt my heart drop. Of course he fancy's another girl. I mean there are so many reasons for him not to like me, and there are lots of pretty girls (MUCH prettier girls) that he could go for. "o-oh. Who's the lucky girl?" I asked him, trying to not sound sad (but I feel like I'm failing)
Neville's pov:
"o-oh. Who's the lucky girl?" she asked me. Lucky? Yea right. More like who's the poor girl. Little does she know it's her. Maybe I should tell her.....no I would just embarrass myself. Maybe I can just give her a hint? "Well she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, She's really smart, and she's a s-slystherin...." I told her. I THINK I MADE IT TO OBVIOUS. STUPID,STUPID, STUPID NEVILLE. "That doesn't really give me the answer. Do I know her?" she asked. I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. "Y-yes actually you know her very well" I said. "I think I have a feeling who it is..." she said. OH NO S-SHE KNOWS!!!! Wait she doesn't seem mad, or disgusted, maybe this is a good sign. "D-do y-you?" I asked, "I think so" she said. "If you ever need any advice, let me know" she said, and she walked off, "b-bye Y/N!" I practically yelled. "Bye Neville" she said. Godric I love her voice, and when she says my name. Okay that wasn't tha- wait did she say if I ever need advice? Did she not notice I was talking about her? Who does she think I'm talking about....? I said the most beautiful girl, how did that not give it away? UGH STUPID NEVILLE!! I facepalmed and continued to walk to the common room.
