chapter 1 {I Get Attacked by Jackfrost}

Moon's breath stuttered and her heart was pumping like it wanted to come out of her chest. Her legs wobbled and she took a short breath walking forward. She had nicely toned olive skin but that didn't stop her knuckles from turning white as she grabbed her book bag strap for comfort. As she inspected her knuckles she saw her watch. HOLY bashing four moons! She was gonna be late if she didn't book it to her home room soon. She dashed passed doors as fast as she could go ( which was really fast ) and her black flats made little 'clik likc clikk' noises as they hit the floor, she found her way through the sea of students and her head snapped to every door she ran by, 101, 102, 103,104,105 Aha 106! And she wasn't late now, that was a miracle. She slipped in the door, settled in to an isolated desk at the back of the classroom and slung her book bag around her chair. She huffed her hand reaching up to move a strand of hair from her face. She thought of how the heck am I gonna live through HIGH SCHOOl, when waiting for her teacher to start class. She looked down as more students filled the class, and chatter started up, now that everybody was here moon made a map of the seating plan on a spare sheet of paper.

Peril, she was a coppery skinned girl, tall too, looked like she was held back a grade, really sporty, kinda scary, and everyone gave her a wide berth of space. She had a sad nervous look on her face that was outlined in a dark dull red hair that went down to her shoulder

Carnelian, kinda the same skin of perils but less of a copper sheen to it, like five inches shorter than peril, she had some big scar on her face but it just suited her. She had a constant scowl and pixie cut red hair, she looked like if you cornered her in a dark scary alley that you would come out bleeding. And she would come out with a nail chipped

Umber : a short skinny kid, looked like he should still be in elementary school, almost... malnourished looking? Short brown curly hair and muddy green eyes, and by the way he looked at guys, gay. Dark skinned

Sora : she was as short as umber but thicker, umber and she kinda looked related. She had the same curly brown hair but a bit less curly than umbers, it was cut in a bob and her bangs hid most of her eyes. She looked very shy. Oh and dark brown skin

Turtle : a boy an inch or two taller than sora with the same build to, a bit tanned but not much, and looked like he was being bored to death, but didn't mind but would rather not be here and his hair was dyed a deep musky cyan . He also had wire framed glasses

Anemone : a lith small girl who looked like she was a grade to young to be in high school, she had the same skin tone that turtle had so that left moon to believe they were related, she had light blue hair that faded into a lighter still pink she had an effortless beauty and she chatted the girl beside her a blushed a lot... les?? Maybe.. she was adorned with a lot of light pink and blue jewels. Mostly pearls too

Tamarin : everyone called her 'blind girl' . She was an inch or two taller than anemone , and she had short dirty blonde hair and a bit passed her shoulders. Her eyes were milky and foggy. She seemed like she was a bit shy but was fine with others; she was talking to the girl beside her with a kind and patient expression.

Kinkajou : the girl was .SHORT. She was shorter than anemone and anemone looks like she was in a younger grade! But the girl made up for it in personality. She had hair dyed all the colors of the rainbow and probably had the longest hair in the class next to moon, she had a HUGE smile and was constantly saying happy stuff.

Lynx : average height for a freshman, she had fair hair tainted with blue and silver streaks. It was smooth too. She was pale skinned and constantly looking over at winter sighing and blush and looking away when he turned in her direction.

Winter : he looked very serious and not-amused, he had short fair straight hair tips dyed with a light blue and his features were sharp and angular. He was tall and only a few students were taller in this class (peril and Qibli )

Icicle : she and winter were related, definitely. Her hair was cut just as formally and angular as his only going an inch or two past her shoulders. Her hair was as fair as her brothers and she had the same frosty expression and light pale skin.

Qibli : he was tanned and had a crooked ginn for each emotion, he was tall (tallest kid), kinda muscular had sandy hair that was buzzed on one side then flowed down the other to about his ear he had one amber with gold piercing, he had a small scar on his nose and a few light freckles to go along with it.

Moon had observed this all when the teacher called out names for attendance then she remembered a startled thought since Qibli had gone that meant! " And Miss Moon watcher?"

"Here, but umm... i'd rather you call me moon" i said Horsley and softly. The teacher nodded and went on about how great Jade high was and how lucky we were to attend. Well moon felt she had been forced into a death trap, that no matter how hard she tried she couldn't think of a way out.

After a bit of a speech the teacher paired them up and said they should share two truths and one lie. She was paired up with the rainbowy happy-go-lucky girl who spoke very fast."HI-IM-KINKAJOU-BUT-GUESS-YOU-KNOW-THAT-YOU-ARE-SO-AWESOME!"she said with a big grin. I shuffled my feet and looked down and said quietly

"I'm moon, umm should we start?" she looked happy and said

"Okok! I'll go first. I have a sister called Glory, my parents are divorced, I have a ship diary where I put all my matches made in heaven!" she put on her best poker face and waited. Moon brushed her chin with her knuckles and thought.. Glory could be her sister.. But Moon had met the sophomore and she didn't mention any siblings. Kinkajou's parents could be divorced, Moon's own parents were. And moon 100% believed kinkajou had a ship diary, so it had to be. "The lie is glory is your sister.. Am i right?" kinkajous face lit up

"Your SO right, we are SO SUPER close but not sisters!" she clapped her hand happily

"your turn!"

i thought for a minute " ready. My parents are divorced, i have a sibling and i'm from volcanic elementary" winter and icicle spun around and sneered. They marched towards me and I quivered in fear "VOLCANIC ELEMENTARY! That place is the breeding ground for the crooked and low-lifes!" icicle and winter said. My eyebrow scrunched up and my voice wavered. " Wha- no..o itt-s not, there are s-some really nice people there..." I trailed off as winter leered in and icicle clenched a fist, I glanced around for a teacher but miss.Asha was out. Icicle was about to strike when something grabbed her and winter shirts and pulled them back. "What was that for elsa? And Jack frost? Such vulgar behaviour and in front of our new student! How rude!" Moon peeked through her terrified fingers to see Qibli ginning and doing a bad impersonation of a teacher, icicle sneering. But the most confusing face was winters.. He looked relieved he didn't half beat her up. Moon glanced at the clock. Grabbed her bookbag and bolted to her next class praying that icicle and winter weren't in it.

ARTHOURS NOTE- hi I hope you guys like it i know is mostly just telling you what the characters look like and im also not the best story-maker i also want to tell you that you can  ship whatever you want but these are the ships i like so no hate, if you really dislike a ship can you please give me a good kind respectfull argument on why i should ship it? thanks love you all
