When my time comes, forget the wrong that I've done. Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed.
After about 8 long and extended hours we had arrived to our destination, Barbados in the Caribbean. I know Tom said the Caribbean but not exactly where.
My parents and I were immediately in awe at the island we had arrived at.
"You two really outdid yourselves for us" My father chuckled at Jeff and Tom. Tom slung his arm over my shoulders while he chuckled "I think it is well deserved after the day everyone had" Tom responded.
Tom had hired a tour guide for us to show us around and take us to the resort we would be staying at.
As Tom and my father talked I subconsciously slipped my phone out of my pocket to look at the time, except my eyes didn't exactly go to my phone. They landed on a text message I had received about an hour ago. It was from Frankie.
I unlocked my phone to read the message properly and it read: Hey, did you leave Stephen at home? I've told you Colin, it is dangerous to go anywhere without him.
"Shit" I muttered then hit the call button on his contact. Tom noticed my actions then turned to me. "Are you okay?" He asked "Shit!" I said louder because the call wouldn't go through. I had long distance calling but I was not In a good are quite yet to get good enough service to make a proper phone call.
"Colin, honey, what's going on?" My father asked me, I looked up at Tom who was clearly worried. Well, everyone was worried "Colin?" My mom asked. Our body guards also stopped in their tracks to look at me in concern.
I sighed "With everything going on, it's been slipping my mind that I fired Stephen, and that I was supposed to tell Frankie so he could hire me a new bodyguard. He still thinks Stephen is my bodyguard and I am really thinking the worst right now" I rambled.
Tom placed his hands on my hips. "Honey, everything is going to be fine, we have Claude and Joseph"
"But, Tom, we do not know the lengths that Stephen is willing to go. He is in love with Colin after all" My father interjected. "Being in love is way different than being borderline obsessive" Jeff interjected.
A chill ran through my body when those words left Jeff's lips. Stephen obsessed with me? That was never a thought that would have ever crossed my mind. Even with our history I didn't even think to believe there was obsession.
"Obsession is a dangerous game, I am sure you know that, sir" Claude turned to Tom. Tom was caught off guard by the comment but we all knew it was true.
"Why don't we forget about all of that for now, this is a vacation after all, we are all getting worked up over nothing, I am sure" my mother said in a calming voice to everyone.
"Mrs Knight is correct, we shouldn't worry ourselves much. After all, that is why we came here" Tom agreed with my mother.
We all continued to follow the tour guide who was obviously completely lost over what we were talking about, poor fella didn't know what he got himself in to.
The tour guide was very friendly, he also had recommended that we stay in our condos for the rest of the day and that he would return in the morning for the official tour. We didn't blame him for feeling that we needed rest, we all were a bit shaken up over our conversation.
"Okay so, who's condo is who's?" My father asked as he approached us with three sets of keys and pamphlets that the workers had given him.
"This is going to be rather strange but I booked a honeymoon condo for Colin and I, she could use the extra relaxation" Tom spoke sheepishly.
Everyone turned to him in a bit of shock, including myself.
"What?" He asked innocently, "Honeymoon?" I managed to breathe out.
"Oh darling no, I just wanted our vacation to be romantic" Tom rambled, My father and mother eyed us strangely but my mother had a lingering smile on her face.
"Well, Mr Hiddleston I think that is a good idea, Colin could use the distraction" Joseph nodded. My father reached over and smacked Joseph over the head with a pamphlet we all chuckled at the sudden action but Joseph was slightly offended.
"Sir, I did not mean it that way! I meant to say Honeymoon suites tend to have things for couples to share! And they could possibly get some romantic meals!" Joseph practically shouted.
"Now how would you know what a Honeymoon suite has? Last time I checked you were single?" I managed to ask.
Joseph's face dropped further, Claude stifled his laughter but my parents did not.
"Colin!" My mother scolded, "Sorry, Joseph, I'm not in the right headspace right now" I mumbled.
"When are you ever?" Joseph muttered as he slipped a key out of my Father's hand.
Claude cleared his throat after finishing his stifled laughing fit, "Joseph and I will be bunking in the condos in between Your parents and yours. Jeff will be joining us, our condos will be connected by doors in which we could easily access you if necessary" Claude explained.
"And how do you know this?" My father asked, "I made sure to call ahead, they had to convert a regular condo into a honeymoon condo like Tom asked, so that won't change" Claude shrugged his shoulders.
Tom and I looked at each other at the same time, so much for a romantic vacation, my family's bodyguards would be able to walk into our condo freely.
But I know that did not matter anymore, if we were in any type of danger it was best this way, and especially since Tom is very famous, we could not take any risks.
