Drown me in the water, drown me in the sea, lose me in the dark, drag me to the deep. Let your water wash over me.

Tom's POV

I laid motionless, as to not awake Colin.

She was so precious when she slept.

She was precious regardless, but in slumber she looked so relaxed like.. Her. Not this stone cold persona she attempts to be.

I was caressing her back as her slow breaths hit my arm, her eye make up was slightly runny but that did not bother me, nor the fact her eye make up had stained the white shirt I was wearing.

The marks on her neck still bothered me, greatly.

I couldn't help but take her all in.

We were not going anywhere but I was over the moon just how we were.

With my free hand I stroked her gray hair away from her face. She stirred a little in her sleep making me take my hand back real quick.

She still however rested her head on my chest. I subconsciously was still rubbing her back.

I was drifting off to sleep slowly as well when her phone began to beep on the night stand.

With my free arm I went to grab it.

It was a text message.

It was an address.

Another possible lead. Get there as soon as possible.

I must have read the text and address over a million times. My heart was pounding.

I didn't want Colin to go off on her own again and get harassed.

"Forgive me" I whispered then kissed the top of her head.

I gently grabbed her head and slipped out from under her , placing a pillow down to lay her head down.

She began to stir more, "Shhh shh" I shushed her and rubbed her back again.

She relaxed immediately.

"I'll be back" I whispered then forward the address to myself then left her phone besides her.

I grabbed the keys to her car then left the apartment, locking it before I left then I was on my way to find her car.

When it came in view I rushed towards it, getting inside, turning on the car then heading on my way to the address.

I know she is going to be infuriated but sometimes I have to do things on my own, she shouldn't be the only one to care for me or protect me.

My hands gripped the steering wheel.

I knew exactly what I was walking into and yet I did not care. I was willing to risk myself for Colin. Because she has done that for me since the beginning.
