Camp Jupiter

Leo finished he ship, which meant that we could go to camp Jupiter and try to stop an all-out war from happening.
Great.
Oh, and on top of all this Alex and Nico hadn't made contact so I was a little panicky.
I mean what was I meant to tell Percy 'Oh hey! I've known you sister my whole life and she's currently missing with Nico di Angelo!'
Yeah I don't think so.
Annabeth looked quite calm seeing as she'd told all of us what to do and she was going to see her boyfriend for the first time in 8 months.
If that was me I would be scared shitless.
She probably was, I mean the whole plan was hers, having me up the front so that the Romans wouldn't try to shoot the ship out the sky, having Piper have lines ready if she needed to Charm-speak.
A lot of stuff was riding in Annabeth and she was calmly standing in the middle of the deck waiting for us to arrive at New Rome.
She'd even had Leo send a video scroll to Camp Jupiter so that they would maybe be a bit calmer about us arriving about the camp in a Greek warship.
As we arrived I started to feel nervous and when I looked down, part of New Rome was in ruins, there must have been a fight.

Everything seemed to be going fine until the statue of Terminus exploded onto the deck almost knocking Annabeth overboard.
She turned around to find herself face to face with a very angry statue.
'Unacceptable!' He screamed.
This wasn't going to end well.
Sulphurous smoke rolled of his shoulders and cinders popped in his hair, he was mad, very mad.
He was also just as I remembered him, square marble pedestal at the bottom and from the waist up a roman bust with a toga, and a slightly muscular human figure.
'I will not have weapons inside the Pomerian Line!' He yelled 'And I will certainly not have Greeks!'
Annabeth, Leo and Piper glared at Terminus.
I shot Annabeth a look.
'Terminus, it's me. Jason Grace.' I said.
'Oh, I remember you Jason, you and Alexandra always causing trouble! I thought you had better sense then to consort with the enemies of Rome!'
I rolled my eyes 'But they're not enemies!' I stated
'That's right,' Piper said jumping in, 'We just want to talk. If we could-'
'Ha!' Terminus snapped, 'Don't you try that Charm-Speak on me, young lady. And put that dagger down before I slap it out of your hands!'
It was getting hard to keep a straight face.
I was use to Terminus doing this but the looks on the others faces was hilarious!
Piper had obviously forgotten she was holding her dagger, as she glanced down at it.
She looked up giving Terminus a questioning look 'Um.....Okay. But how would you slap it? You don't have arms.'
Uh Oh.
'Impertinence!'
There was a pop and a flash of yellow.
Piper yelped and dropped her dagger, which now lay smoking on the deck.
'Lucky for you I've just been in a battle. If I was full strength, I would have blasted this flying monstrosity out of the sky already.'
'Hold up,' Leo said walking forward, waggling his Wii remote. 'Did you just call my ship a monstrosity? I know you didn't do that.'
'Let's all calm down.' Annabeth suggested while raising her hands to show that she had no weapons.
'I take it you're Terminus, the god of boundaries. Jason told me that you protect the city of New Rome right? I'm Annabeth Chase daughter of -'
'Oh, I know who you are!' Terminus was staring at Annabeth now with his blank white eyes.
This isn't going to end well!
'A child of Athena, Minerva's Greek form. Scandalous! You Greeks have no sense of decency. We Romans know the right place for that goddess.'
Oh Styx!
Annabeth's jaw clenched.
'What exactly do you mean, that goddess? And whats so scandalous about-'
I couldn't take it any longer.
'Right!' I interrupted, 'Anyway, Terminus, we're here on a mission of peace. We'd love permission to land so we can-'
'Impossible!' Terminus squeaked. 'Lay down your weapons and surrender! Leave my city immediately!'
'Which is it surrender or leave?' Leo asked.
I was trying so hard not to laugh.
'Both!' Terminus yelled. 'Surrender then leave. I'm slapping you in the face for asking such a stupid question, you stupid boy! Do you feel that?'
'Wow,' Leo said while studying Terminus. 'You're wound up pretty tight. You got any gears in there that need loosening? I could take a look.'
Leo changed his Wii remote for a screwdriver in his magic tool belt and tapped the pedestal.
'Stop that!' Terminus insisted.
Another small explosion made Leo drop his screwdriver.
'Weapons are not allowed on Roman soil inside the Pomerian Line .'
'The what?' Piper asked from beside me.
'City limits.' I translated.
'And this entire ship is a weapon!' Terminus said, 'You cannot land.'
Annabeth looked over the side of the ship at all of the buildings.
A crowd of legion reinforcement's had made it half way to New Rome.
She glanced around, taking in the faces of all of the people.
I saw purple, the mark of a praetor, the kid wearing it looked a lot like Alex, so I guessed that it was Percy.
'Leo stop the ship.' Annabeth ordered.
'What?'
'You heard me. Keep us right where we are.'
Leo yanked the controls upwards and the ship stopped moving, all 90 oars froze in place.
I liked Annabeth's plan, it just might work.
'Terminus,' Annabeth asked, 'There's no rule against hovering above New Rome, is there?'
He frowned 'Well no...'
'We can keep the ship aloft. We'll use a rope ladder to reach the forum. That way, the ship won't be on Roman soil. Not technically.'
Terminus pondered. I could tell everyone was imagining him scratching his chin with his imaginary hands.
Man if Alex could see this!
'I like technicalities,' he added 'Still...'
'All our weapons will stay on the ship. I assume the Romans - even those reinforcements marching towards us - will also have to honour your rules inside the Pomerian Line if you tell then to?' Annabeth stated.
'Of course! Do I look like I tolerate rule breakers?'
'Uh, Annabeth...' Leo said 'Are you sure this is a good idea?'
'It'll be fine,' she said after some thought, 'No one will be armed. We can talk in peace. Terminus will make sure both sides obey the rules. Do we have an agreement?'
Terminus sniffed, 'I suppose. For now. You may climb down you ladder to New Rome, daughter of Athena. Please try not to destroy my town.'
