Jason's P.O.V
Annabeth looked like she wanted to eat but it didn't seem like she had much of an appetite.
I'd almost forgotten what it was like to eat as a Roman, the low couches and tables, people were lounging around in groups of 20 while wind spirits went around handing out food: Pizza, chips, cold drinks and cookies!
Oh how I'd missed the cookies!
Lares were drifting through the crowd and fauns stood around the edges of the feast, trying to get food off of the demi-gods for money.
Hannibal was out in the fields, with the hellhound I'd seen earlier, playing with the children from the city around statues of Terminus that lined the city limits.
Reyna and a few officers along with Octavian, who'd just got back from burning one of his teddy bears, sat up the front with us, where Percy joined us with Hazel and Frank.
A tornado of food platters settled on the table, as Percy leaned over to whisper to Annabeth.
I noticed Percy had been excepted into the legions, branded onto his arm was the same symbol as Alex's, SPQR with a trident but instead of 16 lines like Alex or 12 like me he had 1.
Annabeth didn't look to happy about the fact that he had been marked by the legion, it makes it look like they've made us their own and we belong to them permanently, but once you've been here a few years it doesn't seem like that anymore.....it feels like its them welcoming you into the family, and at the moment the family was missing Alex.
Reyna stopped my train of thought by calling a toast of friendship.
After we'd all introduced ourselves to everyone else, we all began to exchange stories.
I explained how I'd arrived at Camp Half-Blood with no memories and how I'd gone on a quest with Piper and Leo to save Hera (or Juno - I didn't believe Annabeth at first but know I agree she's equally annoying in both forms!) from her prison at the wolf house in Northern California.
'Impossible,' Octavian broke in, 'That's our most sacred place. If the giants had imprisoned a goddess there-'
'They would've destroyed her,' Piper said 'And blamed it on the Greeks, and started a war between our camps. Now be quite and let Jason finish.'
Octavian opened his mouth to reply but no sound came out.
You've gotta love Pipers charm-speak!
I glanced over to Piper and smiled at her.
'So,' I continued, 'That's how we found out about the earth goddess Gaia. Shes still half asleep, but shes the one freeing monsters from Tartarus and raising the giants. Porphyrion, the big leader dude we fought at the Wolf House he said: he was retreating to the ancient lands - Greece itself. He plans on awakening Gaia and destroying the Gods by.....what did he call it? Pulling up their roots.'
Percy nodded thoughtfully, 'We've had our own encounter with Queen Dirt Face.'
He rencountered his side of the story.
How he'd woken up in the wolof house with no memories other then one name: Annabeth.
I honestly thought Annabeth was going to cry.

Percy told everyone how he'd travelled to Alaska with Frank and Hazel - how they'd defeated Alcyoneus, freed Thanatos and returned with the lost golden eagle standard and helped to repel an attack from the giants' army.
I was now seriously impressed!
I whistled in appreciation 'No wonder they made you Praetor.'
Sadly Octavian hadn't taken it upon himself to leave.....'Which now means we have three praetors! The rules clearly state we can only have two!'
Piper whispered in my ear 'Does he ever stop complaining?', which made me smile slightly and shake my head.
I was interrupted from my thoughts with Percy sassing Octavian, this should be interesting!
'On the bright side,' he started, 'both Jason and I outrank you, Octavian. So we can both tell you to shut up.'
Octavian turned purple then his top.
I reached over and fist bumped Percy, man this dude is going to get me into so much trouble!
He even got Reyna to smile, but, sadly, her eyes were stormy, uh oh......
'We'll have to figure out the extra praetor problem later.' Reyna said, 'Right now we have more serious issues to deal with.'
'I'll step aside for Jason,' Percy said, 'It's no biggie.'
Oh man, here goes Octavian.
'No biggie?' He choked. 'The praetorship of Rome is no biggie?'
Percy just ignored him and turned to me.
'You're Thalia Grace's brother, huh? Wow. You guys look nothing alike.' Percy said smiling at me.
'Yeah, I noticed,' I replied. 'Anyway, thanks for looking after camp while I was gone. You did an awesome job.'
'Back at you.' He said back, while Annabeth kicked him in the shin and Piper gave me a look...Opps.
'We should talk about the Great Prophecy. It sounds like the Romans are aware of it too?' Annabeth started, Styx things were getting diplomatic now!
Reyna nodded. 'We call it the Prophecy of Seven. Octavian, you have it committed to memory?' She asked politely.
'Of course,' he stated. 'But Reyna-'
'Recite it please. In English, not Latin.' Reyna commanded.
He sighed.
'Seven half-bloods shall answer the call. To storm or fire the world must fall -'
'An oath to keep to the final breath,' Annabeth continued, 'And foes bear arms to the Door of Death.'
Annabeth suddenly looked embarrassed, with everyone looking at her.
Well everyone but Leo, who'd made a pinwheel from aluminium foil and was sticking it in wind spirits.
Oh for the love of the gods Leo!
Frank sat forward, looking at Annabeth as if she'd grown another eye.
'Is it true you're a child of Min- I mean Athena?' He asked.
'Yes,' Annabeth said getting defensive. 'Why is that such a surprise?'
Octavian scoffed. 'If you're truly a child of the wisdom goddess -'
'Enough,' Reyna snapped, glaring at Octavian. 'Annabeth is what she says. She's here in peace. Besides...' she gave Annabeth a grudging look of respect. 'Percy has spoken highly of you.'
Reyna had that tone to her voice, she'd tried to make on Percy, I'd know, she used that tone with me for weeks.
Percy looked down and had a sudden interest in his cheeseburger.
Percy had turned Reyna down for Annabeth, and I was here with Piper.
'Uh thanks,' She told Reyna. 'At any rate, some of the prophecy is becoming clear. Foes bearing arms to the Doors of Death... that means Greeks and Romans. We have to combine forces to find those doors.'
