Chapter 12

"Where is he??" Adam was questioning as he was pacing back and forth in the current meeting room. It was only him, Ty, Jerome, and Ant at the moment.

"You know how Jason is, he doesn't like to stay in one place-." Ant tried to reassure Adam but he was already in a state of panic.

"He always checks in with me, he hasn't checked in ALL day, what if they got him?? What if he's dead, what if he's dead?" Adam repeated to himself before his eyes widened.

"He's not dead," Ty said as he stood up and walked to Adam, "We all know Jason puts up one hell of a fight, there's no way his big ass is dead."

"But it doesn't make sense, he would be here." Adam said as he was still worried, unable to get his mind off of it.

The few people in the room sigh, allowing Adam to have his breakdown so he'll hopefully calm down soon. "Maybe he's infiltrated them? That's why he hasn't contacted us back." Jerome said confidently. It took a moment for Adam to think about it but his face just lit up as he nodded.

"Wait you're totally right!" Adam said with a bright smile as on his face. "Jason is pretty good at that shit, plus, i don't think they know Jason is apart of us. That's why he hasn't answered or anything because they can't see that he knows us!" Adam continued on with whatever he thought now.

The three men were just glad to see Adam calmed down now, getting back on track so that they could figure a way to find Jess and return Jason home.

Jess and Seto reached Mystreet. They talked about it all, how Jess was feeling, has been feeling. She's been strange, and she has finally been able to let it off her chest. "Yeah.. i'm sorry to say but that why i ran, i couldn't stay after what i did.." She mumbled for a moment and Seto just chuckled, before pulling her into a firm side hug.

"It's okay, you have nothing to be sorry for, trust me i know how you're feeling." Seto said as they walked up to the girls' house, standing in front of the door as he let Jess take a moment to catch her breath and relax. "We, seem to have this energy about ourselves that make us just a bit different than others." He paused to think on how to word this, "You know, i'm a mage, a person of magical abilities. However, you seem to have some different abilities, magical yes, but some seem beyond what i could ever do."

This made her worry, how could she be stronger than one of the stronger mages she knows? She couldn't worry about that now as she decided they had been standing there much too long, and went on to knock on the door. She knocked a good solid three times in a row. They stood back and waited for the door to open, and after awhile, it did.

"I swear to god if it's those fuckin boz-" A woman started before she opened the door fully to see both Aphmau and a man at the door. Her eyes widen as she almost squealed n happiness. "APHMAU!" She screamed as she rushed over and hugged her, totally pushing Seto away. He allowed it though, since he didn't wish to ruin any moments.

"Where have you been? Are you okay? Who is this guy? What the fuck is happening?" Katelyn asked way too many questions that made Aph's head hurt.

"I'll explain once you calm down." Aphmau said as she turned to Seto and grabbed his arm to pull him back to her, "As for now, we are going inside so we can explain." Aphmau said as she walked past Katelyn, Seto tried to smile at Katelyn but she just glared at him as they enter the house.

The moment Aphmau and Seto entered the house, the people inside eroded in loud noise. Garroth and Laurence already up in Aphmau and Seto's business,  Zane having to literally smack some sense into them. "Ow!! Zane what the-?" Garroth started but Zane shushed them.
