Aphrodite smiled softly at the villagers as they bowed in respect. Even though the Lycan king hated the gods and goddesses, his people still showed their respect. He spotted her before she could spot him but it wasn't that hard. The gods had a radiant essence and such an alluring smell that it was almost easy to spot one. She walked alongside The Moon Goddess, a god he actually liked. She created his great great grandfather and they evolved into a species much larger species. With so much breeding, it was often that his citizens were cousins.

He noticed from his staring that Aphrodite wasn't like the other gods. Instead of a snark reply or an ignorant slur to belittle those below her, she smiled and blessed the women's wombs for future pups. She gave them joy as she walked amongst them. He didn't know her name, but felt the pull to be near her. To ravish every part of her being. Her innocent yet mischievous, grey eyes made him wish he was in front of her. He wanted to look into those eyes and be acknowledged by her very being.

Aphrodite was oblivious to the beast lingering in the window of the large palace and the figure of darkness that stayed hidden in the shadows. Both watching the beautiful deity that they had no knowledge of, but equally wanted.

Lucian growled softly before looking towards his right hand man. "Who is she?"

Milos followed his eyesight and chuckled. "Goddess Aphrodite. That woman hasn't been seen in centuries. What could she possibly be doing here?" Milos questioned, watching the beauty pass through.

Lucian hummed softly, still watching. Milos chuckled as he watched his poor friend looking like a lost puppy. His feelings were simply everywhere. And he hated it. He was a man with control and this woman stirred feelings.

What made it worse was that she felt the stare and began to look for it. Her eyes landed on his own from afar. His lycan stirred inside him, trying to unleash itself as it felt the truth unravel. Mate.

Selene wore a small grin as she saw her friend stare at the castle longingly. "We should go thank the King for letting us through. It's been tough for them these past few weeks with all the human rebellions."

Aphrodite immediately grew flustered, thinking of the handsome man in the window that stared at her with a great intensity. "I- uh- sure. Yes."

They were in the castle walls with the snap of a finger. It looked different than the city. The city was lovely and alive with many many lights and colors but here it was dull and black. There was a sadness to it that made Aphrodite's heart break for the King living here. However, it matched her soul. The guards parted and opened the large door and allowed them entry.

Aphrodite's eyes were in wonder as she watched the Lycans train and try to show off in front of her. A small laugh escaped her lips when one of them lost focus from staring at her and were tackled to the ground.
