He was raging and all of Olympus knew it. Ares officially had signed death warrant. Ares may have been his son, but he knew wrong was wrong. Aphrodite went over his horrible acts, revealing the man's true colors.
Zeus felt guilt as he recalled giving his blessing to Ares, unaware of what he'd been doing under their noses. But he sighed, not being able to imagine what his daughter felt like. He immediately closed the portals to Olympus, trapping everyone in and locking a few out. Including Ares. Maybe then, the war would be easier for her mates if Ares had no support from Olympus. But there are still some that favored him. Such as his mother and probably his other wives.
Hera always watched Zeus and his favorite daughter with envy. Why couldn't she receive the same admiration? Now the only man to ever love her was locked outside because of Aphrodite.
Olympus was split in two. Many had children, friends, and distant relatives that resided in the mortal realm while others didn't care.
"You must open the portals, Zeus. I'm sure whatever threat there was has passed..." Poseidon spoke, annoyed with everything. He felt as though it wasn't a big deal. If Ares dared to touch his niece, he would kill him with no hesitation.
"That's not the point. He is an erratic man, known as the god of war. We must figure out a way to trap him before he does any more damage." Zeus stated, glancing at Aphrodite once in a while as she rubbed her growing bump in deep thought.
"This is ludicrous! You can't be serious! All this for a few dead mortals and a pathetic goddess!" Hera said, fuming in anger as she sat on her throne.
"Watch your tongue when you speak of my daughter," Dione said cooly, watching the furious woman.
"I was speaking to my husband, harlot." Aphrodite reached for her mother as she stood. A fight between them two would only end in Hera, Queen of gods, dead and a war in Olympus lasting for years. Zeus had always ignored her jealousy, never paying it any mind.
"Enough. Hera, leave. You need to stop babying the boy and remember that this is for the greater good. We did not create our mortal subjects just to be killed." Poseidon said, knowing that Hera would always side with her son. But she couldn't stop her son's fate even if she wanted to. She could only wait it out or try to lessen the blow.
"It's okay. I'm tired and so are my babies. We can discuss this later." Aphrodite said, being helped to her feet by Hestia and Demeter, who was smiling ear to ear still shocked with the news of her pregnancy.

"We need to set up a party for the announcement of the little ones! I'm sure everyone will be excited." Diana said while Zeus chuckled. Claire sat to the side, engrossed in sewing a dress.
