Nini's POV
it was finally the day of the dance and Ej is picking me up. I was all ready in a nice blue dress with a small pair of heels. My grandma is here aswell since she really wanted to see me in my dress. I suddenly hear  a car pull up and a honk. "Oh well my rides here bye!" I say running towards the door. "Where you going?" My grandma asks. "To the dance!" I say. "You do not go running when a boy honks!" my grandma exclaims. "Mom it's fine." Says my mom. "It's certainly not fine! This is not a drive through ! She's not fried chicken." My grandma says sternly. "But I told him to honk and that I'd meet him out there ." I say. "I don't care what you told him. If he wants to take you out he will walk up this door and knock and say good evening and come inside for a moment like any civilized normal human being would know to do." My grandma says. "Now mom I have meet him already this is silly." Says my mom. "Well I haven't!" Says my grandma. "Yeah but-" my mom starts to say. "We will wait until he comes to the door." My grandma says. "He doesn't know he's supposed to." I say. "He'll figure it out." I keep hearing honks from outside. Until finally I hear footsteps at the door and three doorbell rings. I start to run to the door. "Don't rush! A lady never rushes!" my grandma says. I open the door . "Hey!" I say excited. "Hey I thought I was supposed to honk." He says. "I know I'm sorry." I say. "Young man come over here!" my grandma says sternly. He meets my grandma"Be home by 11:00!" She says. "12:00"my mom mouths. We get in the car. But I the suggestion that maybe we shouldn't go. Ej honestly loved that idea. I ended up saying that we should go. But as soon as we arrived Ej said "we could just take are picture and leave." He says. "Oh we could." I say not liking the idea. "Or we could dance a little first." He says.

Ricky's POV
I've been at the dance for some time so has Nini when I see her date. "You know we haven't meet!" I say. "No we haven't." Says Ej. "I'm Ricky!" I say. "Oh never mind we have." Ej says. "What are you talking about?" i ask. "Nini mentioned you." He says. "Oh yeah?" i ask with a smile. "Yeah I wouldn't get quite so excited about it." He says. "Oh why did she say something mean." I say sarcastically. "Yeah!" He says. "Ok so your princess needs a little protector." I say. "What's your problem man!" Ej asks. "Nothing just don't like your girlfriend that's all." I say. "Really doesn't look that way to me!" Ej says. "I don't care how it looks to you." I say. "Alright whatever I'm gonna go." Ej says rolling his eyes. I block him from moving. "What the heck get out of my way Ricky." Ej says. "Hey Whats going on?" nini asks. "Nothing just getting to know your boyfriend." I grit out. "It's going real well don't you think!" Ej grits out. "Mhm."i say. "Well sorry but we need to go." Nini says. "Oh why little girl needs to be home?" I ask sarcastically. "Stop!" Ej yells. "Let's go!"Ej says. I walk up to Nini when suddenly Ej punched my chest. "What the heck do you think your doing!" ej yells. "You will not push me again!" i yell out. I shove Ej hard. "You'd not want to fight me Ricky!" Ej says. "Why not!" I say rolling my eyes. "Cause I'll kill you!" Ej says. People are now holding us so we don't punch at each other.

Nini's POV
we left and I headed home just what a night.
