Ricky's POV It was Monday and Ashlyn and Nini and some others are paired up for a project. I was worried about her. She was looking straight at her paper and well I was looking at her to see if she was ok. Things were really awkward between us right now. "Nini and Ricky what about you guys?" Ashlyn asks. Ashlyn was thinking of making us king and queen for the project. "Us Uh no!" I say. "Yes no!" Nini says. "Why!" Ashlyn asks. "Because-" I start to say. "Cause I don't want to be queen!" Nini says. "Me either!" I say. "King— i don't want to be king!" I say. "Umm what about you be queen!" Nini says to Ashlyn. "I'm going to be the head of Parliament I can't!" She says. "Be both." She says. "I can't be both!" ashlyn yells. "Why not!" Nini says. "Why won't you be queen!" Ashlyn snaps. "I'll be queen!" gina says. "Yeah make Gina queen!" She says. "Fine you'll be queen Ricky will be king!" ashlyn says. The bell soon rings. "Alright see you all this weekend!" Ashlyn says. "We're working all weekend!" gina says. "Yup!" Ashlyn says.
Ashlyn's POV I walk out the door next to Nini. "Question!" o say. "What up?" she asks. "What's wrong with you and Ricky !" I ask. "What do you mean?" She asks. "You just seem weird around each other." I say. "No no weirder then usual." She says. "Disagree!" I say."why?" she asks. "I just think it's strange that you didn't want to be queen!" Ashlyn says. "You know not al girls want to be queen Ashlyn." Nini says. "Ok if you say so." I say walking away.
Nini's POV I just realized that I forgot my book in the classic I run Inside when I run into Ricky. "Oh Uh here you forgot this." He says handing me my book. "Oh yeah I did thanks." I say nervously. "Sure." He says. I was about to head out when I tell him. "I think we need to talk." I say. "About what?" He asks. "You know what." I say. "No i dont." He says. "Look we have a lot of woke ahead of us we also have 2 1/2 years left of being in the same school. I don't want things to be weird between us. Don't you think it would be good if we talk about this!" I tell him. "Ok." He says softly.
