Wanting you // A Rini fanfic

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚠𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚢 𝚏𝚒𝚟𝚎

Yup it's another day of school. Yeah I'm back at school. Summer was ok I guess and EJ and I talked and we are ok right now. "Ugh!" My mom exclaims walking into the kitchen. "What?" I ask her. "The car won't start! She whines. "Why not?" I ask her. " i don't know it's just dead and when I try to turn it in it makes a horrible sound !" She says. "What kind of sound?" I ask her. "Like Rrrah, Rrrah!" My mom says. "Oh well then it must be the battery." I tell her. "Well what did I ever do to make the battery mad." My mom whines. "Let's see hmmm oh wait yeah you kept the radio on all night killing the battery oh and you kept the lights on all night !" I tell her. "Ok well then I've done multiple things to make the battery mad." She says. "So your going to walk to work?" I ask her. "I'm wearing heels!" She exclaims. "Then change your shoes." I say. "I would have to change my outfit." My mom says. "Then change your outfit." I tell her. "I'd have to walk upstairs!" My mom tells me. "Oh gosh." I say rolling eyes. "Ughh this is way to small!" i say struggling to put my school books in my backpack. "That backpack is not to small!" My mom says. "Oh yes It it!" I tell her. "Well then just leave some behind." My mom says. "But I need all these." I say. "No you dont." My mom says.  "Yes I do!" I tell her. "The hunger games." My mom asks. "Yeah That's my best book!" I tell her. "Ok then leave five feet apart behind." She says. "No that's my other best book! Sometimes on the bus I like to switch it up" I say. "Hm ok so what's the lord of the flies." My mom says. "That's my lunch book." I tell her. "Nini you dont need all these!" My mom says. "Yea i do." I say with a small laugh.

~time skip to at  lunch ~
It was lunch time and I'm sitting in the cafeteria. I grab my "lunch" book  and start reading and eating. When suddenly I get interrupted. "Oh sorry to startle you but I'm your guidance counselor, you name is Nini right? Nini Roberts?" she asks. "Yes." I say. "I would love to sit and talk to you ." She says. "Ok well when you finish your lunch ." She says.
~a little while later~
"Hi Nini!" She says. "Hello." I says. "Alright now let's talk about why your here, headmaster Charles and I have been worried about you and we have been observing you." She says. "You've been observing me!" I say uncomfortably. "We've been concerned lately about your social behavior here at school." She says. "What about it?" I ask. "You didn't seem to interact with the other students." She says. "I do sometimes, in class all the time!" I tell her. "But rarely outside of class and at lunch your all by yourself." She says. "Yeah Well That's when I catch up with my reading." I say. "Nini this could affect your future." She tells me. "But I don't  get it, I get good grades isn't that enough?" I ask. "You know it's not, Nini when we make recommendations to university's on a student the social skills are a huge part of it. Also I assume you want to go to a university." She asks. "Absolutely." I say. "Well university's do not look kindly on loners." She says. "But I'm not a loner!" I say. "Really?" She asks. "Loners are those guys that you see walking around wearing Uh I don't know out of date clothing and they tend to carry a duffel bag and that's a loner! I say. "Loners are all different, just try to improve Nini." She says.
