AMANE'S POV:

"I want to go to the play ground!" Kairy yells"play ground! Play ground!" She continues"I can't take you to the play ground." Y/N's mom is heard from the kitchen"mom I can take her." Y/N offers"are you sure?" She hums stepping into the living room,her child tugging on her apron. "Yea,it's fine." She sighs in relief"thank you so much." Y/N stands up and walks over to her mom. "Come on Kairy,let's get going." Kairy nods and let's go over her moms apron"oh Amane,what time do you need to get home?" I stand up and join Y/N"oh just whenever." She nods"I can't thank you two enough for doing this." Y/N smiles"really,it's fine."

Kairy slips on her shoes"come on! Come on!" Y/N nods and walks over to the drop off and puts on her shoes,I join her as well. "Oh,I need a coat." Y/N remembers"mom,can you run upstairs and grab me a coat?" She nods and returns with a faded and tattered blue hoodie. "Is that mine?" I ask eyeing it as Y/N stares down at it. "Oh,seems so." Y/N shoves it at me"no,no! Keep it!" She retracts her hand"are you sure?" I nod"I didn't even know you had one of my hoodies if I'm being honest." She smiles making my cheeks burn"well then thanks." She slips the hoodie on"ok,we're off!"

The outside was chilly,thankfully it would be spring soon. "I'm so glad the winter season is over." Y/N sighs"I mean,I love winter but it just seems so sad." She comments as we walk down the streets. "I know right." Kairy skipped in front of us humming a melody as she did so. "I don't want to go back to school tomorrow." I groan"agreed. This weekend has gone by so fast." I shrug"I've been stuck doing homework all weekend." Y/N lets out a soft laugh"sucks to be you." She puts a hand over her mouth"couldn't be me." I shove her making her stumble a little"meanie!" I roll my eyes and we continued our walk.

"Kairy!" A girl screams approaching the short black haired girl. This girl was taller,she had brown hair thrown up into a ponytail,she had freckles lining her face as well. "Becca!" The girls hug each other"whose this?" I ask Y/N"Rebecca,she's an exchange student to my knowledge." The girls then run off into the playground area. "They seem to get along well." Y/N nods and walks over to the swings,she sits down and her hands wrap around the metal chains. From where I was standing she seemed so sad,perhaps it was just the scene. I walk over to her and grab her sides and pulling her back"A-A-Amane?!" Y/N exclaims"what are you-"I then let go and she flies into the air.

"I HATE YOU!" She screams as she swings back and forth. I smile"you love me~." She doesn't respond as she tries to stop the swing"I can't stop it! Fine! Ya know what!" She then let's go of the swing and jumps off of it,landing on her arms and knees. I snicker at her as she looks over to me,a displeased look on her face. She stands up and rushes to me"YOU'RE GONNA GET IT AMANE!" I let out a laugh and she chases me around the play ground.

As she chased me around,I stumbled over my own feet and fell into the grass. "Finally! I got you!" She presses her shoe on my hoodie"I got you fiend!" She moves her body closer to me,she brings her hands into a gun like shape"now,tell me what you did with the money!" She yells"now! Or I'll shoot!" A smile comes to my nervous lips"I-I'll never tell you!" She smirks"fine,guess I'll have to kill you then!" She then points it at my head and makes a 'bang' sound with her lips. I shut my eyes and stuck my tongue out pretending to die. "Now that he's dead." She brings her foot of me"time to go find the money." I let out a laugh as she glances at me"you should be dead!"

"I'm sorry it's just-"I wipe my eyes"you'd make such a bad cop!" She tenses up for a moment before crossing her arms"you didn't even fit the image! You're to soft to kill anyone." I tease as I sit up"I'd like to see you try Mr.Yugi~." She teases(bet is what Amane said jk jk). "Well at least I don't cry over fictional characters." She places a hand on her chest,a offended look on her face. "So rude! I'm heavily in love with my pretend boyfriends!" I cross my arms"exactly. Couldn't be me."

"Excuse me?" A new voice rings,I look to see a older woman,perhaps her early 60's. "I couldn't help but notice you two." She gives a soft smile"it's quite odd to see such a lovely couple out in public these days." I feel my cheeks burn"w-we're not together!" Y/N quickly says as she gives a confused look"you're not? Well...that's even odder." She jokes"you two should become a couple,you're quite cute." She pressured"th-thank you." Y/N stutters out as she looks to her sister. "Would you-"she grabs my hand and drags me up"excuse us ma'am? We must get going." She nods with a smile and we get away from her.

"She was pressuring us a lot." Y/N says"I hate those people." My heart was racing still,I wish we were in a relationship if I'm being completely honest. "Kairy!" Y/N calls letting go of my hand and walking over to her sister. I stared down at my feet as I waited,my brain was wracking back and forth between it's self.

That lady was right,we would be cute.

We're like 12. That's weird.

Eh whatever. Perhaps we're soulmates?

"Amane,we're ready." Y/N's voice brings me out of my thoughts as I look up. "That was fast." Y/N nods"sorry we didn't stay at the playground long." Y/N apologizes to her sister"it's ok! Thank you for taking me!" Her sister smiles"I can't wait for dinner! I'm hungry." She says turning around. The rest of the trip was silence between us.
