AMANE'S POV:

I haven't spoken to Y/N in a while. It's a good thing I've pushed her away. She doesn't need me. I'll only drag her down. Recently,a new voice has been surrounding my head often filling my mind with "kill them","kill him" and more. I wish it would stop. They're like a little demon. It's not often they say a word,but when they do it's hauntingly scary. Today is the first day of 1969,a brand new year. My fortune this year was: a fresh start.

Well I guess that's a good thing. This year will be better than next year.

I currently sat in class listening to Tsuchigomori drone on about school announcements. He finally then walks over to one of the doors"we have a new student joining us this year." He motions for them to walk in and that's when a boy with glasses comes in. He had short black hair and kept his head down. "This is Haru Takahashi. He'll be joining us from now on." I noticed a white and red orb floating beside him,my brows furrowed as I kept quiet. "Please go sit next to Nakamura." He nods and walks over to the empty seat and sits down. His seat was assigned a few seats in front of me. The ghost orb circled his body a few times,a few mutters came from his mouth.

"Now,let's get started."

I couldn't help but keep think of this boy. He seemed to know that the orb was there. Is he like me? Can he seems spirits? As if my 'prayers' were answered,Tsuchigomori told us that we were going to work on partner stuff. And thankfully I was to be with Takahashi. I walked over to his desk and sat down. "Hello..."I trail off as he looks up at me"are you Yugi?" I nod"nice to meet you Takahashi." He nods and returns back to scribbling on his paper. "Did you draw that?" I asked seeing a small drawing of a girl. "Oh yes..."he says not looking up from his notebook.

"Who is she?" I hum"Hanako-san." He answers as I look at the orb"does that belong to her?" His eyes widen as he nods"y-yes." He stutters out"so you are like me...you can see the supernatural beings can't you?" He nods"yes. I've been able to for years." I nod"I figured. I've never seen a supernatural though." He nods"I see. How about the Mokke?" I nod in agreement"I see...I can introduce you to Hanako-san later." I pick up my pencil"sure."

Time skip to after school

I walked over to Takahashi's desk,he stands up and puts his bag over his shoulder. "Come on." He takes my hand and drags me towards the girls third story bathroom. "Th-This is the girls room!" He nods and pushes open the door"she is a girl after all." He walks in and drops his bag to the floor. "Hanako-san! I'm here! I've brought a friend." He explains as the third stall door opens,a girl peaks out from behind it. "Takahashi..."her eyes land on me"y-you can see me?" I nod"I'm Amane Yugi." She gives a soft smile with pink cheeks. She finally opens the stall more and walks out. "Takahashi..."she trails off as I take a good look at her appearance.

She had dark green hair that was put into a low bun,she wore a old school uniform. "I told you not to call me Hanako-san." He nervously laughs"sorry Haruhi." She crosses her arms and looks to me"how long have you been able to see us?" I shrug"since last year." Her eyes widen as she slaps her hands over her mouth,almost like she was trying to keep quiet. "What's wrong Haurhi?" She shakes her head"n-nothing."

Clearly...it was something.

She removes her hands and sits on the window sill,crossing her legs. "I need to run soon." She says"I have a meeting later with the other supernaturals." Takahashi nods in understanding"Haruhi,what are the other supernaturals like?" She looks to me"well,the clock keepers are pretty chill. Mirai is troublesome...Misaki is nice but has an attitude,the bird...well he's ok I guess? He's quite quiet. The spider is annoying at times,but he means well and then the shinigami...he never shows himself. So I can't say for sure."
