AMANE'S POV:

My glossy eyes looked up at Tsukasa. "You're not going to that school festival tonight. You're going to stay here and let me beat you. Simple. And if you disobey me,I won't hesitate to beat you even more...got it?" He sternly asks as I nod quickly. He smiles and bends down and engulfs me in a hug"I love you Amane~." I nod and mutter a 'I love you' back before he stands up and exits the room. I stand up with shaky legs and carry myself to the bathroom. I wrap my bruises up and then exit the bathroom.

I was going to that festival. I promised Y/N that I would. She would be disappointed if I didn't go.

When it got closer to night I got dressed and snuck out of the house. I ran towards the school as fast as possible,I knew what was waiting for me when I returned,that was something I'd just have to deal with when the time came. I noticed people heading into the school and some standing outside in a few lines. I looked around to find Y/N leaning against the school building. Y/N's eyes land on me and she comes over to me. "I was scared you weren't coming." She admits as I nod"sorry..."I trail off"it's fine...hm?" She takes my arm and pulls up on my coat sleeve to reveal one of the gauze wraps. "What happened?" She asks"o-oh..."I pull away"nothing." She opens her mouth to say something but closest right after.

"Come on." She says gesturing me to follow her to one of the tables. "I heard people saying it was really good." She tells me as we wait"really? I was thinking it would be quite bad considering." She shoves me slightly"that's mean to say!" The line didn't last long as it was soon our turn. "Oh,if it's not the kouhai." My eyes widen to see Mitski Minamoto. "O-Oh...uh..."she leans forward and rests her head in her hand"you here with your girlfriend?" She teases,though I could tell it was meant to be sarcasm. "You know her Amane?" I shake my head"no." Minamoto's eyes glare at me before she puts on a fake smile.

"So,just you two?" Y/N nods"I see. Are you two kouhai's really ok with doing this? It's quite scary." She says placing the money in the box and handing us two tickets"have fun~." She smirks as I shiver and walk past her. "She seemed..."Y/N trails off"scary?" She nods"that but I was thinking unstable. What did you do to make our senpai hate you?" I stay quiet as we continue into the school.

Tacky directions were hung around the school. "This seems like it was put together in a day." Y/N pushes me and tells me I was rude. We continue down the hallways,a few people popped out of classrooms to jump scare us,but nothing to special. "Man,I thought these scares would be better..."Y/N complains with her arms crossed"agreed. This is a disappointment." We finally made our way towards the exit of the school,the cold autumn wind brushed up against Y/N and I.

People were walking out with us,shaking like leafs. I guess Y/N and I weren't scare able in there. We headed off the school grounds and walked down the empty streets. "We paid 50 cent for that? It was so bad." I groan as Y/N lets out a small laugh. We continued on our walk,the streets were always eerily creepy on Halloween night. Maybe it was all the ghost stories? People do say it's the scariest night of the year.

As we walked in silence and got closer to the neighborhood my head swirled with thoughts. Tsukasa is going to kill me! What am I going to do?! He's going to yell at me,and hit me and burn me and a lot of other things...I shouldn't have left! I'm so stupid! Why did I do that?! I knew the consequences and still did it anyway! What is wrong with me? Y/N seemed like she had fun despite how horrible it was...I'm glad. She deserves to be happy.

"Amane,are you ok? You're crying." Y/N says with worry laced in her tone as I stop and reach my fingers to my eyes. I felt wetness on my cheeks,I brushed away my tears and turned to her. "Y-Yes! O-Of course I am! I-I just yawned is all." Her brows furrow for a moment before slowly nodding"just remember,you can trust me. If there's anything you wish to talk about,I'm here. So is Tsukasa."

I nod hesitantly"I am aware. And I-I thank you for that. But really-"I give her a fake smile"I'm fine."

The rest of the walk was silent after my 'outburst'. We said goodbye and went out separate ways once we reached Y/N's house. My shoes clicked against the sidewalk,dread and anxiety over came me. You're so stupid Amane! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Why the h*ll did you do this?! You can't always go with what Y/N says! I know you like her but think about yourself!...she's so pretty and nice though...Tsukasa is going to murder me!

When I turned to look at the house,I saw Tsukasa siting on the doorstep,the light on bending him giving him a dark shadow over top of him. "Good to see youre back Amane." He stands up and walks over to me,I stay still. He roughly grabs my hand drags me inside,once inside he throws me to the floor. My body clashes with the hard wooden floors as I let out a soft groan. "Oh? Are you hurt Amane?" He crouches down"you have nobody else but to blame yourself here." He grabs hold of my hair,I tear up at the pain,but don't say a word. "I told you not to leave. And you did so anyways...do you not-"he grabs hold of my face and forces me to stare at him"trust me~?"

I don't respond,this causes him to take his free hand and punch me in the gut. "Ahh...!" I gasp as I see some blood spill out from my mouth"you stupid idiot!" He throws me to the floor"did you really think Y/N would have a fun time with you?! She does all of this out of pity!" When he says the word 'pity' he kicks me in the gut again,I grab my stomach in pain,almost like holding my stomach would ease the pain. "Poor Amane...nobody wants you. Nobody. Nobody. Nobody! Nobody! NOBODY! NOBODY!" With each 'nobody' he hit me somewhere on my body.

By the end of the beating I was practically bleeding and covered in bruises. "Clean yourself up, we have school tomorrow." He stands up and starts to walk away from me"it would be a shame if people were to see you like this."

And that's how he left me.

I laid on the floor in a small pool of my blood. It wasn't enough to matter,but just enough to make you feel a little dizzy. When I finally had enough strength I sat up,the room spun around me as I felt myself wanting to fall backwards. I grabbed onto the wall for support,but almost tumbled to the floor right after. I carried myself to the bathroom as well as i could. Once inside,I shut the door and used the sink as support. That's when I saw my reflection.

My right cheek was bruised with some blood,the taste of metallic was in my mouth,I opened it to see my mouth full of the crimson red. I shrugged my jacket off to see new bruises appearing,I lifted my shirt to see my stomach filled with bruises. I suddenly felt weak and fell to the floor,I let out a soft groan as my body hit the floor.

I deserve this.
