Author's Note: So, allow me to clear up this monster real quick; it's basically the Strong Man, but his arm and part of his body is stone, he's a tad more powerful and the backstory's different. This story is kind of heavily inspired by Season 3 with the fact of monsters, so don't judge me. But anyway, onto the prologue!

Narrator/ 3rd Person POV:
Diego fell onto the porch outside of Laceline Rockettes, his workplace, before being struck with the baseball bat again.
A customer had gotten very drunk and Diego refused him another drink, which is how he ended up in this situation; the customer was attacking him with a baseball bat.
"I'll kill you if you don't give me another drink! I'm not even joking!" He growled, hitting Diego again and again.
Diego couldn't fight back; he didn't know how to fight.
"HEY!" a girl yelled from the distance.
It was Heidi, the Mayor's daughter.
"Get off of him now or I'll take you to the station myself!" She said.
The man, in pure shock, dropped the baseball bat and tried to walk- but he struggled too because he was that drunk.
Heidi has also run off and Diego was alone again.
Diego brought himself to his feet, looked through the window, and saw himself.
He had a broken, bloody nose, a black eye and there was blood all over his face, along with bruises and blood on his body.
As his body ached, he unlocked the door to the diner and went upstairs for the night. He was too hurt to walk back home.
He leaned in front of the window as he looked at the bright lights of the empty town; the Ferris wheel glowing like a disco ball, the lights outside of the stalls, everything was so bright.
Diego was brought out of his trance of thought when he heard footsteps approaching the stairs.
Diego turned around to see a lady in a dark purple gown and an amber gaze.
She had horns atop her head, and raven-black hair in two buns at the back of her head, holding what looked like a gauntlet with a diamond in the centre.
"Miss, I'm sorry, but the place is shut for the night." Diego sighed, worn down and tired of everything.
"Oh, I understand... Diego." She whispered, a slight smile on her face.
"W.... wait," He quivered, backing up further against the wall he was stood against. "H....how do you know my name?"
"Oh, I'm a friend of a mayor and I'm in town visiting. But, that's beside the point." She declared, now smirking.
"I'm here because I can make you strong." She denoted.
"S... strong?" Diego gulped, now confused and downright terrified.
"Yes, strong. Stronger than an army. Strong... like a Stone Man." The lady responded.
"All you have to do is take this. That's all I will ask of you." She whispered, holding the gauntlet out to him.
Diego would give anything to be strong, and this lady had given him an offer he couldn't refuse.
He slipped the gauntlet onto his wrist.
A teal and black magic escaped from the diamond as it and the three wrist sections of the gauntlet flew off of it.
The magic thrust itself into Diego's throat and he fell to the floor, convulsing and screaming. After it had stopped, one of his arms slammed into the floor, making a huge dent.
As he stood up and growled, the lady in the purple gown was gone.
Diego looked at himself in the mirror that was in the room; he had changed psychically and mentally.
He was in a police officer's uniform, his eyes a piercing shade of blue and his hair lightning blonde. But, to top it all off, his right arm was stone, along with the side of his face.
Diego raced down the stairs and kicked open the doors of Laceline Rockettes.
A newfound fire was burning within him.
"Time to show these little shits who they messed with! Because this bee has earned its stripes!" He growled, racing off into the night.
He was no longer Diego.
He was Delamont's Stone Man...
